Nobody knows for sure until about 8 tomorrow when the FA inform the press so they can write up their articles quickly.

However I'd love Arsenal away first get the biggest JCL fest out the way first.

Danh1 - June 13, 2007 08:50 PM (GMT)
I hope Newcastle get Sunderland away first to get that game over with, it is unreal how much I fear that game, if I could get a ticket with the toon fans it wouldn't be so bad but last time I sat with the unwashed and they are very bitter people. The first time I've saw Newcastle score 4 away aswell.

Standupandsing - June 14, 2007 09:06 AM (GMT)

I'll be back for bristol city away...if I decide to go.

Was hoping derby got man utd away.

Ah yes good old fixture day, the only entertainment going for a good two months - but don't even think about daring to publish them on your non-commercial fan site or on any messageboard... the league's legal bigwigs will soon be chasing you for the licensing fees they are due!

Great business model that - I might suggest to my local cinema that they shouldn't be just giving their film listings away free like they do, commercial suicide!

mancred - June 14, 2007 09:49 AM (GMT)
we got man city at home 3 days after the 50'th aniversary of munich.
can see it being a day of some of the worst trouble ever.stupid FA.

Away from home....its tradition.

We'll take 5000 to Tannadice as usual and stand all day long....well in the shed end anyway...thats the place to be...best stand in Scotland for a bounce and a sing song.

last trip to Tannadice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npHvtxjsjK0 haha

Blackcountry Villa - June 14, 2007 10:05 AM (GMT)
Liverpool at home first, could have been easier but it will be a good test and a good way of seeing what our ambitions are for the season, and it's about time we beat them. Blackburn our first away game altough it's on a weeknight, i love spending a saturday on the Fernhurst car park

Blues at home the end of April almost the same date as we beat them at home last year and hammered one of the final nails into their relegation coffin, we'll beat them again and officially relegate them this time.

Wet Spam away last game of the season, Uefa Cup play off game....

It'll be changed because we'll be playing in europe that week as long as we get through interoto anyway.

Am I being naive?

Do you get much anti-Munich singing from Man City fans? It's completely wrong whoever stoops so low, but would seem worse when it comes from people within your same city.

Your having a giigle right?

They fail to remember that one of their own died in that crash. Still I wouldn't have it anyother way the bitter deluded fools.

I just hope Sky make it a 5:15 kick off on a Saturday so everybody can have fun and games in Manchester before hand.

Got Liverpool away 3rd game of the season, chuffed about that. Brum and Reading 1st 2 matches, with Pompey 4th, so not a bad opening month.

Same as last time then, although the game at Newcastle was a 1:30 kick off.

Rather a derby at that time than say, a trip down to Pompey though.

yorkiebarkid - June 18, 2007 11:42 AM (GMT)
First round of sky-jackings are out on Thursday apparently.

Tanzo - June 18, 2007 07:22 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I only take the fixtures seriously once sky have trouted around with them. And Sheff Utd could cause a major headache too.

marvin - June 19, 2007 09:42 AM (GMT)
had to laugh yesterday looking at the fixture list on united's website - nothing but 3pm kick offs all seaon. i wish. <_<

unibee - June 20, 2007 09:41 PM (GMT)
Morecambe away first day, geddin. Slightly annoyingly all the games in the first two months are terrace games, was hoping to get in a German weekend in in that time - oh it's hard for some :D

In the end, interesting though it is you know who you're playing, just not the order.
More interesting for me is the pre-season list which I always think is like a cup draw with a bit of mystery about it. A couple of decent trips here to St.Albans and Farnborough, which are always a pleasure, plus a new ground to go to in Northwood.

Utd 90210 - June 21, 2007 12:00 AM (GMT)
Anyone have any idea when Sky will announce which games they will be showing live/moving kick off-times for the first couple of months of the season?
