Title: The Enemy
hibs1875 - June 12, 2007 12:10 PM (GMT)
Anyone heard of them? Went to there gig last night, fkn excellent. I've seen literally 100's of bands at a range of venues and that was by far the best and mentalist gig i've been to. Only a capicty of 300 odd, tiny venue but every single person up for it.
Packed as trout aswell, crazy wee swaaaaays and lots of crowd surfing everyone pished, no deaths either BTW. :D

Yeah m8 they're young, dunno their exact age though. They supported the Manics, they've got a slot on the 'Other Stage' at Glasto aswell an almost sold out tour (Small venues I know but.....)
Missed the Charlies on Saturday :(
Daft Punk on the Sunday though B)

Man I love your taste In music. Genius band just a shame they're from Smelly Coventry.
purpleronnie - June 14, 2007 02:05 PM (GMT)
Yeah definately one of the best new bands around.
One thing I miss about the uk is the music, here in the US its terrible.
Someone on the radio yesterday called 'fall out boy' a punk rock band.

I seen them at the Freevolution festival at Newcastle a few weeks ago. They are one of the best new bands at the minute.

Superb band, another Brummie lot (I think) who I'm liking are The Twang.

How could anyone wonder for a moment if The Twang are Brummie?
How "out there" Brummie are they?!!!
Caught both The Twang and The Enemy at Glastonbury and both were great fun.
The Twang for just looking like they were having such a great time, and The Enemy for "the best impression of being hard by someone who looks no more than 12 years old"!!!!
:D
