Great stuff! Why didn't I notice the €1 beer at Bochum? :( Are you planning to do any more?

I'll certainly be out again, almost certainly in August when the season kicks off again. All travel, hotel (4*!) and match tickets for the two games came in about £75, obviously you spend a bit more than that with the 1 Euro beers and the like, but even coming from England it's both very easy and very affordable to do a weekend in Germany.
There's evidently a bit of interest from a few people here, I'm thinking about trying to get together an SUSD trip to Germany with hopefully a pilgrimmage to the Sudtribune, Dortmund thrown in. Who'd be interested in that?

Unibee sounds awesome.
I had that idea or an alternative would be to go and watch Mainz v Offenbach (Local Derby) and then the frankfurt game on the other day. But your idea sounds awesome.
Very, very intrested mate.
Simme- Do you have the tables for the 3rd division? (Rl.Nord/Sud - I think)

Beer 1€... :o In Frankfurt it's 3,70€ and I don't remember any reduced price at all. Just some canned beer from the Czech Republic outside the ground. :D
I really enjoyed reading your report. Excellent. The "pencil shaped thing" is probably a kind of chimney of one of the many coal mines in the Ruhr area.

Cool. Are you going to the SUSD meeting, perhaps discuss it then.
There are lots of good trips you could do in Germany, Frankfurt looks amazing although as I've found some of the smaller grounds are pretty good too, tickets can be easy to get hold of and and they have a larger percentage of terracing too. So definitely don't neglect the smaller grounds, although on my next trip I'd definitely like to go to one of the huge grounds.

Yes, I am going to the meeting for sure :D
Would love to have some sort of trip, I think there should be numerous ones visiting a few other coutries as well.
I'm currently looking at going to watch Shamrock rovers or Derry City and Also Fc United looks like a good laugh.
