Across the country there are big screen showings of England , where 100's of fans stand.

These screens and facilty to show are surley funded by local councils. ( i asume so anyway)

Are these not the same councils which are so against standing at football grounds ??

...also has any seen the big advertising boards, advertsing bbc 5 lives coverage of the wc, all of which shows fans standing, and who owns the bbc !!

Regarding the advertising during the world cup showing fans standing, ITV's coverage which seems to consist mainly of adverts advertises an energy company whose advert which are normally shown during half time at most games shows supporters in English stadiums standing up.

Also in Manchester they have now stopped the games being shown on the big screen in the city center and moved it to a location where supporters sit down to watch the games.
