Hi, all! (again lol.)

We have a new rating system, thenx to our wonderful global moderator .:: Stacey ::. for the wonderful idea. *wink wink*

Here's how it works:

The Rating System recognises members who make outstanding contributions to this forum.

If you make outstanding contributions to this forum, in the form of posting pics/news/downloads/etc, or translating, uploading, and just helping members (and the forum) out in general, YOU WILL BE RECOGNISED and you will get ratings.

However, if you make a really bad post such as 1] posting up pornographic images; 2] posting up links that contain viruses; 3] causing any form of discrimination against other members, 4] breaking any of the forum rules, your rating will be decreased.

And don't worry, if you have 0 ratings, that doesn't mean you've done anything wrong. =)

HOW DO I EARN RATINGS?

You don't have to be a whiz at translating news articles or have a super fast internet to always be uploading clips. We know that not everyone is able to help in the most obvious ways, and we recognise that many members will contribute in many other ways. ^^

You will earn ratings if you...

[x] Share news articles (in English of course!) or translate articles for everyone.
[x] Participate actively in discussions and whatnot, and also creating interesting topics.
[x] Share pictues.
[x] Share or translate lyrics.
[x] Share files, upload files, fulfil requests.
[x] Actively welcome newbies with a friendly smile. =)
[x] Share your masterpieces and make graphics for others, etc.
[x] Help other members by answering questions they may have, and are always friendly to everyone.
[x] In general, a good member of Se7enth Heaven, who is friendly, cooperative and always willing to help others out. ^^;;

Please note, uploading one file/sharing a few pics/sharing a new article/etc WILL NOT GET YOU A RATING. Ratings are given out to members who consistantly contribute in some way. We will give ratings if we see that you have done something which has taken time and effort.

So it all sums up to this..... When you contribute, you get a cookie, or in technical terms, a +1 rating. A mod may send you a PM with +1 rating, thanking you for your contribution to something (hopefully they'll state why you're receiving a rating). Also, if a mod recognises that you have made an outstanding post, you may receive a rating just for that one post (say you translate a whole interview or upload a HUGE file), and you will see a +1 rating at the bottom of your post. ^^ (This is also to let other mods know that you have already received a rating for that)

In the same way, -1 rating will be given out too.

Negative ratings will be given out after a PM reminder followed by a warning PM. Once you've been given notice TWICE, you shouldn't be complaining if you find yourself with a negative rating.

Every time you contribute, your rating gets higher and higher until you reach the peak which is 100. If EVER someone reaches a record of more than 100 ratings, then I'll just have to increase the amount. However, 100 ratings would be absolutely MASSIVE, so don't expept to reach that any time soon. XD

Remember, a rating acknowledges your constistent and outstanding contribution to this forum, not one day's work of making a million posts in this forum. If you get my drift... .__.

This rating system works differently from everyone's "Money System". Everyone makes money as they post, whether they make really great posts or whether they just spam (XP). However not everyone will get ratings. At the moment, I don't believe we've sorted out what you can do with the ratings that you earn, HOWEVER we will hopefully come up with something. At the moment, just be a good member and you will be rewarded~ ^__^ *pats*

[Side note; unfortunately, us mods can't receive ratings. =( But that's okay! We'll have fun giving them out. =D]

since people have been abusing the spam rule, i have no choice but to implement negative ratings. don't be surprised if you get a -1, -2, -3, etc. rating. if you reach -5 to -49, i will be forced to suspend you from posting. if you reach -50, i hate to say it but you will be banned. so if you want to stay safe, please limit yourself to only 50 posts a day.
