kelv_w - December 20, 2005 09:47 AM (GMT)

Here is some of my built but spoiled kits:

Well, here is some unfinish kits:

More picture on its way, maybe after i back from hometown :P.
Argrillion - December 20, 2005 10:12 AM (GMT)
Wow Azizol! You're the first modeller I know of that doesn't have a stash. Most of us are infected by Modeller's Disease #1 where we buy, buy, buy!
BTW, Modeller's Disease #2 - Open the box, start building but never finish.
kelv_w - December 20, 2005 11:18 AM (GMT)
ok here's my stash #1.. :P
nothing much in this cupboard...but it's where I stash the newer kits and some other misc.
Brutus - December 20, 2005 04:55 PM (GMT)
"You cannot resist the dark side, Luke" voice of Darth Vader.
Do I see 2 kits each of the F-15J 'JASDF 50th Anniversary' pt I, II and III???? Another compulsive buying, eh?
Ok, there's stash #1....more please :)

Same here. Just to feed the imagination. I have a store room full of kits running into the hundreds which I keep telling myself to built someday when I retire. At my current rate and the continual temptation of new kits monthly, I would need to live to 120 years old to finsh them...... :D

This is my partial 2005 stash (i.e. kits purchased this year). Well, I am trying very hard to resist the new kits in the market.
Please, please Dragon and Trumpeter, no more new releases!
Lots of 2nd hand Italeri kits in the stash but I love that Bull Frog and S-Boat. Can't wait to build them.

Like Loo, I have a locked bunker holding 100 over kits.
Loo, it's about time we have cofffee to discuss our plan to build all our collection. Not sure my kid will inherit any of my interest.
Silantra - December 21, 2005 01:00 AM (GMT)
my partial stash also
Argrillion - December 21, 2005 01:09 AM (GMT)
Sil, trying to figure out where is the Alpine and Gen2 sets hidden in your stash. Beachbum, Jimbo and I are still eyeing for that Gen2 set of yours. Ha! Ha! Ha! :D

I came across an article lately, trying to explain why is it that we keep the stash... Nevertheless.....
my rationale to my wife is that 'if I don't buy it now I won't find it later.....'
of course its no longer true with the internet but lets keep this to ourselves OK :D
ianual - December 22, 2005 03:01 AM (GMT)

Argrillion - December 22, 2005 04:00 AM (GMT)
Scale Plastic Modellers is not club yet. The management is now filing an application to register it as a club. We have yet to work out the details of the club membership but MH is now having a sale until late December 2005.
SNEAK PREVIEW
*************
Coming this 7 Jan 2006, the management will be announcing its 2006 events. There will be lots of activities and prizes to be won. More workshops and more meets. And maybe ... special members' day!

** Sorry modellers. My memory is quite limited. I am working with the local hobby shops for a 'What's New' list beginning Jan 2006.
If you are looking for kit, just PM me. I will check it with the local hobby stores.
Loo CK - December 22, 2005 08:04 AM (GMT)
I have not shopped in HHQ for ages. R they still giving us hardcore modellers a good discount or can I claim to know some of you??? B)
Argrillion - December 22, 2005 08:17 AM (GMT)
Things are pretty much the same in HHQ except with more aftermarts. BTW, SPM is not affliated with HHQ and MH. SPM is on neutral grounds.
