Thanks Alan. You'll have to excuse the forum today as weekends it tends to be a bit quiet. I appreciate the assist and I'm positively sure that many forum members will as well coz the pea pattern camo which you do very well will help them as a good reference.

Sil since old Flooge is not around for now, I'll help answer one of your questions. As far as I know Alan uses mainly cheapo brushes which he cuts to fit his needs. However, we will leave your other questions to the WW II German Camo Sifu when he comes back online.

Aiseh man...thanks for the nice comments...very shy lah :P
My skills only so-so lah...lots of other sifus out there better than me
What Beachbum said is true...my brushes are cheapo ones that I cut to suit my needs. Much more economical for poor people like me ;)
Well, the 1st layer is of course he base colour, followed by the brown, then the dark green splotches. Kinda like what you did for your Ambush at Poteau set actually. Hard to explain lah...need to actually show in real life leh....Speaking of which, where are the finished pics of those figures, Sil? Would love to see them :))
Heh..just went to MH just now during lunch time..picked up 3 boxes of DML figure sets for 20% off..couldn't resist.. :(
Cheers!
Alan

Alan as I was just telling Sil you inquired about his 'many' unfinished sets. Looks like your advice may get him back into finishing them if he is not too busy playing spy/traitor in the other sections. :D

I'm sure Loo would agree with me to pin this topic as it will serve as a good reference for one of the many WW II German camo schemes. Thanks Alan (Floogen) for his contribution. A nice kick-off for the newly reformed Figure forum.
Loo CK - June 1, 2006 05:47 AM (GMT)
Alan, perhaps we can get a in progress log from you in the progress section? It will be useful to a lot of beginners.
Floogen - June 5, 2006 05:25 AM (GMT)
Hi Loo,
Which progress shots? You mean any new figures that I am doing? The above figures have already been finished :P
I'm in the progress of doing another batch of figures at the moment...I'll make sure I shoot some pics of them every now and then to show the progress. Do I post them intermittenly as I go along, or wait till I finish them and post all the pics together?
Cheers!
Alan

Alan you can post them as you go along and I will pin the thread just like I did this one so that it wouldn't move down. Many thanks in advance for the help as this may help "turn" others to the good side of the force.
Loo CK - June 5, 2006 12:13 PM (GMT)
Can't wait Alan, start posting them today.... B)
