Your build looks good and the painting as well. Any other info on your build like if there any car that you are replicating, any modifications done on it. I think a lot of the members here are willing to provide input but although a picture is worth a thousand words, some brief explanation helps the others to understand more on your builds.... :D

gilalah. Macam oven bake betul laks hehe

agree with sky. instead of using flourecent bulb why not use normal 60watt bulb like in "the hatching egg's cage". it will be warmer my 2 cents.

Civic SIR
So far the model seams to be easy to built but just im being too careless and broke the pillar few times de until have to use epoxy putty to support it. I did not use surfacer for the body, just sanding from 400, 600, 800, to 1200 grid and Tamiya putty only. For the body, I use Tamiya Spray Can black color by applying single mist coat and double heavy coat.

CRX SIR
I did some modification on the hood. As the original model only available in SI spec only. I did cut off the portion of the hood to raise the height of it. On the front bumper, i did a little modification on the signal lamp to extend the length and also the front grill as the original CRX SIR spec. The fujimi plastic seams to be much tougher than Hasegawa.

Btw thanks Bro Ayoi for selling this wonderful CRX model kit to me :)

Thanks for the explanation :)

I was actually trying to identify why is there a lot of putty work on the CRX and since you have mention it, now I know why lah... :D

Sky: The "oven bake" technique is very useful for painting during the night time and rainy time to tackle the humidity issue. I myself got a roadside lamp post housing (the clear cover for roadside lights) for my "oven" and uses the 60watt bulb (as mentioned by kalam2B) to "bake" my model cars.
