Nice one Twong,
Like the Eagle and panel work. Decals need to get the shine off though. Solution is to recote with layer of semi-matt varnish as your bird is overall semi-matt.

Yeah, I second Ahhow.
I'm not quite sure how to correct it once the decal has been applied. To avoid silvering, you can apply some Future Floor Polish to the surface before you apply the decal. Once th decal is firm and dry, spray clear coats if you wanted it gloss or flat.
Other than that, are the rotors supposed to be grey? not black?

Thanks everyone.
I did use Future before decaling and I also used Micro set to get the decals down and then I used Testors flat coat. The decals you see shiny are two step decals. There is a lot of decal paper on them.
Any other tips to get the shine off them?

Another way is to trim as much as possible the unwanted areas.

Nice Job! the low viz scheme is well done.
As for the decals...look for the decaling issue of FSM, I never have anymore decal problems after that.They have reprinted it recently so shouldnt be hard to find.
There are 2 things u can do.
1.Use a sharp brush dipped in Microset and try to brush underneath the decals.U can soak the decals with a drop of Microset ontop first.If you manage to get the Microset underneath the let it dry ,dont dry it out with tissue or brush.Turn the model on its side so the decal is horizontal and let it dry that way.This method is the safest and can be tried again if unsuccesfull.Sometimes cutting small holes in the clear film will help the Microset go in.
2.trim the decal with New Sharp Knife like X-acto.
The shine:
You can cover up the clear parts with paper/ post its or masking tape.If using masking tape becareful as u might remove decals.No need to be precise as the frames all done already.Just spray the flat coat again on the decals.Do this after removing the silvering as the silvering will be tougher to remove after the flat coat.

the explanation is good advice. I already try it with Micro set. As you and others say too I might have to cut the excess film away with the knife. I think maybe the camera flash really make it look shiny in the picture than it really is. When I look at the decal on the model it is shiny but not as shiny as in the picture. I will cut film away and try the flat coat again.
