Wahlau, must be nice to work in the "Special DEffects" department. Those people went and put in ships or things from other movies in "tribute" to them in another series or movie - found this by accident.

For example - Firefly (from the shortlived TV series of the same name and the movie "Serenity"), the Kodiack from C&C Tiberium War, The Enterprise and the Defender (a fan based kitbash kit), The Sulaco from Aliens, was all spotted in the reimagined Battlestar Galactica TV series.

MFalcon in Star Trek First Contact, R2D2 and C3PO in Raiders of the Lost Ark, Imperial Tyderium Shuttle in Firefly, R2D2 in the recent new Star Trek movie.

Siapa nak tengok gambar, put their names here :D See got enuff support to convince me to post them here or not :P

Yeah, I heard of them a lot. Its the in jokes by the crews. There were a lot of these especially (but not the ships) in Star Trek:The Next Generation.

Even in Star Wars, it was there. Do a search on Kurt Russell's Soldier and you will find a lot of Blade Runner references. (Originally, they wanted this to be part of the Blade Runner universe)

Ryoga, thanks for sharing this.

One thing though... in the Revenge of The Sith, the space ship might not be the Millenium Falcon but the YT-1300 light freighter which was already used even during that time. The Millenium Falcon is actually the modified version of the YT-1300 with compartments for smuggling and it has faster engine.

Sorry for the useless info... I'm a Star Wars geek...

Lots of cameo appearance indeed.

The Millennium Falcon even makes it into our local telemovie. If I recall correctly, the movie is called 'Suparman' (as in Superman, I guess).

It was clearly seen at the early shots of the movie where supposedly, at the character's home planet. I think the producer lift the shot from The Empire Strikes Back; when Leia ordered Han Solo to turn back to Bespin when she 'hears' Luke calls out to her. Add some fog effect and TA-DAA!!!

But I'm afraid the shots are not available on the 'Net since the movie was produce in late 90s.
