Wah!!! The much "talked" about Eduard Brassin line is now released with this product... is it better than the normal Airfix kit   ... you be the judge ...
http://www.hyperscale.com/2009/reviews/kit...4reviewbg_1.htmthough if you do intend to get in this kit be prepared with a deep pocket with lots of time. Of course when the manufacturer mentioned it is a Limited Edition well that leaves much to be desired..
Great news for RAF kakis...only problem is the price tag

Ditto that!
I'd love to get one but the hefty price made me think twice.
was the reboxed (airfix) kit any good?

well there were instances of this kit (plane only) transacted for as high as RM 200
of course this price would make Trumpy's 32nd version look very viable... ;)
Mo, its the only 48th Lightning in town ... so not much choice. But the reviewer has mentioned that the base kit is already very good ...
SAC 33,
The external details of the Airfix 48th scale lightnings are really pretty good, IMHO. I have an F6 in my collection. As usual with Airfix, the cockpit needs a bit of work. With the extra details from Eduard I think the kit would be worth the effort.
