For Aoshima product, if you wanna have some discount , ie 20~30% better get it from www.hwjapan.com an online store own by aoshima japan. :D

A small note to all who ordered based from feedback at other forums.

1. It seems at the nose cone, that piece that potrudes upward is a little too high - you may need to sand off the base to make it more realistic

2. Ernest Borgnine in the show is overweight. Aoshima gave him a Tom Cruise figure :P Putty time

Received my Airwolf kit today from HLJ. A quick review of the kit is in order.



True to Aoshima's standard and quality, the kit itself comes with lots of details. I chose the one with the photoetch parts for the challenge (sorry yar but I'm not starting on this project yet so I didn't want to take the parts out of their packaging)

Main fuselage and its poseable stand


Other parts (notice the windows are separate pieces - this is going to be fun)

The nose hood (can't see clearly from here to determine if it is too high)

Comparison with ERTL/AMT Airwolf

This kit is basically your Bell 222 model kit with the option to build the Airwolf version


Instructions below shows this kit only comes with the passenger seats and do not provide for the actual Airwolf cabin.
