I actually wanted to start this build a long time ago but kept putting it off until now. These are some of the items I will be using for this build.



- Hasegawa 1/48 F/A-18F Super Hornet "Low Visibility"
- Fightertown Decals VFA-103 Jolly Rogers First Combat Criuse
- Steel Beach ACS coaming
- Kinetic GBU-38s and AGM-65
- Hasegawa Weapon Set D GBU-12

I might throw in a few more goodies as I progress.

Anyway, I started with the cockpit painting and this is where I got after spending the evening on it.





As the plane will be depicted taxiing on the deck of the USS George Washington to the catapult, I decided to depict the MFDs switched on. The centre display is my pathetic attempt to recreate the moving map display. That's all for now!

Nice job on the panel displays. They really look as if they are lit up. Watching with interest. I am also doing an F/A-18F with VFA-103 markings but mine is going to be the Revell kit.
