Title: Meanies
Description: 'offensive' stuff

modelsinfinescale - October 12, 2009 05:50 AM (GMT)
Hi
I uploaded these two in Webshots and not my usual album coz: first, the recognisable meanie himself and second, the armbands. If they're yanked off, oh well....No big loss there. Both are 54mm Andrea figures. To view full size you'd have to click on the pic.

Patrick,
need to trouble you to send me these totally 'disgusting and vile' pictures to my mail box.

cklooarc@gmail.com

For some strange reason, I have been having problems lately lifting the pics from the forum.

ps: totally hate them! :D

Revliss - October 12, 2009 12:44 PM (GMT)
send it to me too just in case it did get yanked off

revlis000@gmail.com

ps: totally hate them too ! he he

Very well done and blended folds as usual. Pity Andrea's go at old Adolf doesn't really capture the madman look. I wonder who Andrea was trying to represent in the SS officer.

On a sidenote and for the record we have never "yanked" off any pic of Hitler or any dictator figure. I believe our track record shows that according to forum rules, figures nude or otherwise should be strategically dressed either with pics avoiding the "hot" spots  or a simple stripe at the strategic areas.

Just check out this thread.
Patrick's earlier thread

Bum,
if I am not mistaken, that meanie is Reinhard Heydrich, their "police" head.

I think that's not Heydrich. The rank in the model shows Obersturmbannfuhrer. It's probably Adolf Eichmann, the guy responsible to transport jews to concentration camps for mass masacre.

After a quick internet search:

There's another guy who's Hitler's spokesman and intel, but I couldn't remember his name, looks like the model also. He commited suicide with his wife after poisoning their children just before Hitler's death.

Anyway, the adolf hitler's model doesn't really capture his face realistically... I think it's about 80% in my look-a-like meter.

Yeah.... It's not legal to show the Swastika in Germany... and probably some other countries.

Though evil Hitler is, he was a disciplin man, patriotic, workaholic, passionate and charismatic, ironically. His enemy Churchill was a heavy smoker who refuse to work without his cigar. I remember there was a story when Churchill was looking for his cigar and kept a messenger with top priority documents waiting for 1 hour.

Having read the link from Beachbum (I haven't join the forum that time), I must say that Hitler and swastika is a major issue in some places because there are still groups of people, cults etc still worship Hitler as if like GOD. They call it New Age Nazi, where you see people wearing heavy metal jackets, punk heads and pierce things to where ever skins they can.

Well....many chinese worships Guan Yu, who is a warrior 1800 years ago, who in fact also killed thousands of people, and he was the general of the military against the government (a.k.a Rebels). The Cao family officially runs the government at that time. So..... Hitler and Guan Yu.... double standards in the current view.

I really liked a model of Hitler.... if they would produce a Hitler's 1/8 bust or somehow. It's because he is a man who has the charisma to attract millions of supporters and he's a master of psycology who can easily psyco you to do anything for him. If I were to keep a statue of him, it's because of that. He's the top ten of the most influencial human know to history.

I like modeling the SS, just simply because their Uniform look cool (american WWII uniform has the worst appearance, IMO).

German war machines (tanks, planes and subs) are notable engineering master pieces designs (though some is proven impractical in field condition.... mistakes in concept). Without the V-2 for example, space travelling might be delayed for 20 years in history, and the first computer would have been invented 10 years later (you might be still using 486 computers now).

I don't support the Nazi and hated racism, but I am interested in WWII era history, especially the German side. My models, dioramas (mostly about German troop's victory) get critisism often. Hopefully people see the beautiful parts of things and not criticise things at first sight.

Never the less, Hitler is truely a huge monster in human history.

Sorry for the topic deviation.

Just to share with you all:
1) The guy who committed sucide with his wife is Joseph Gobbels and is the Reichminister of Propaganda.
2) The SS officer depicted looks like Herbert Kappler (1907 - 1987) who is an officer of the Gestapo, and head of German police and security forces in Rome.
3)The Fuhrer figure doesn't resemble him except for his hair, maybe they misrepresented Charlie Chaplin as The Great Dictator instead.

Revered or Reviled, everyone have their own expression as afterall, history is written by the victors.

Hi and thanks all,
To those who say the figure in the first set of pics is a poor resemblance to Hitler, thank you so much coz I didn't say he is nor was there any mention at all in the pic with caption ;) B) . As for the white tunic guy, Eichmann, Heydrich, Gobbels.....none of them lah. It's actually my former classmate, Ah Hoe  He and the roti canai guy, Mydin probably posed for Andrea. There settled.

Beach,
The episode with the nude model whom....err..which you 'yanked off' to err...from......( did that come out right ? ;) :P  ) this forum is totally buried and forgotten. My fault for showing the titties B) and if not you, Loo would have removed it anyway but you gotta admit it was one heck of a Goooood morning (ScaleModels)Malaysia !

What I meant was I didn't want to upload these two in my showcase gallery and jeopardise my account with them. Hundreds of thousands of viewers worldwide and there's bound to be protests from many. Can't afford to let that happen and get shut down so I placed them in another album which I rarely use. 'Webshots' was mentioned in my posting and so was 'my usual album'. Man! The memory of those nude pics must've been somethin' else to have sidetracked you even now

Loo and Revliss,
'Lifting' (the pics), now that's less confusing  I'll e-mail you when time permits. Btw what's the story with the delayed t-shirts and my password so's I can access the members' site? Speaking of the site, the Merdeka Aussie you 'lifted' ;) and uploaded there will be featured in the December issue (expected mid November) of Military Modelcraft International (UK) so I was told by the Ed. It's a 4 page feature which I wrote  I just received the proof copy layout via e-mail. Cool! And hopefully it's a definite thing.

'Hang loose'
Patrick

Patrick,
a few myth to be debunked... I will never yank artistic titties shot from this forum pages...ahem...enjoy them too much.
You should see my collection of un-built resin kits but that's another story for another day and another forum. All tasteful ones of course

I could have sworn that was not Ah Hoe.....

As for the T-shirts and card. I have been asking the EXCO to speed up the delivery but there seems to be a hitch. The latest news I got was that the lamination machine is still down and a replacement is due soon. I think they want to send up the things all in one go to save postage. Embarrassing but I best leave it to the guys to deal with this personally with you. Only consolation is that your T-shirt is still there....
