Description: completed work

OK.. not exactly the original recipe or hot and spicy menu...
The poultry family is from the 2 decades old Tamiya 1/35 farm set with a bit of A&B putty added, thought just to make something different once in a while...

This is a good year.. completed my yearly target of 6 figures by Oct 2. 3 more months to go... hope to complete 2 more will be a record year!!!

Hope you like it. All comments and critiques welcome
Allan

:D  Yes, you are right Allan. Tamiya has purposely made their chicken legs larger for the KFC market. Its a very old kit Becky, even the ducks are bigger than some of the dogs in that kit not to mention the steroid high chicks.

Looks like its going to be a very productive year end for you Allan looking at your scaled up work rate which means for lovely eye candy for the rest of us here. Btw I really like these unusual subject matter. Nice touch by having the barrel.

The straw looks big and the chicken has big legs, maybe is a Siamese fighting chicken, also it looks delicious for a 'kai Keot' dish since it's big. my, the colors and shading is damn good.

Hi Allan,

Didn't see this earlier and nearly missed it. Looks good to "Tong" and make curry chicken. I must say the legs are a bit tad too thick and large (manufacturers problem n not yours). I think the straw is ok...what you could have done was sag the ends a little or trim as Patrick suggested.

This must be one very small vignette...good stuff and different.

Beach - No doubt some of the items are over sized, I think Tamiya didn't mean to have ducks... the size suggests they're Geese me thinks. B)

Cheers,

Richard
