There was a mild tremor at my office (PJ) About 45 mins ago. Many people ran out of the building. Anyone else felt it?

Yup, can feel it... My office is at Phileo Damansara and a lot of ppl running out from their office...
Its a earthquake measuring 7.9 hit south Sumatra, more detail

KL Goldent Triangle also felt it. My building was evacuated for a good half hour. Heard the news tremors were felt in SG, Malaysia and Thailand

my friend just told me about the tremors in PJ area caused by the earthquake in sumatera......didn't felt anything this afternoon at subang jaya area.......maybe cos i was asleep :lol: :ph43r:

was in my friends condo near klcc...opposite lotus restaurant...felt it...didnt know what it was...first time feeling earthquake :lol: ....looked around and everything was shaking.. :ph43r: ...swore really loudly called my friend and ran down to lotus for a drink...hahah B)

no wonder the 6pm rush-hour traffic was BAD today....... yeah, an earthquake thousands of miles away and as a result we got a traffic jam in KL... sheeesh :blink:

I felt it too in PJ near Armada Hotel. My office was evacuated and employees were subsequently asked to leave for home. Caused a hell of a jam.

Eh!...
I only heard a long Siren about 7:02pm yesterday at KLCC area, i though is traffic Police siren but .. .sibeh long type kinda like Air Raid Siren...
didnot feel the shaking.... my other colleage also didnot feel anything...
oh.. over at plamo they say another tremo hit sg about 9:45am? isst true?
they recently alot of Shaking activity in Sg and Msia... will there be a Big voccano about to go Boomz? u know Boomz...Boomz, Boomz, Boomz, Boomz ?

well, sumatera barat (menghadap lautan hindi) baru kene gempe 7.7 scala ritcher dan setakat nie 100 kematian direkodkan, tapi mungkin akan meningkat sebab ramai lagi mangse yang msh blm jumpa sebab terperangkap dlm bangunan.
bini aku call td n die ckp bangunan komtar jb tempat die keje bergegar lebh kurang dlm 10 saat dan sekarang semua pekerja kat bangunan tu dah keluar...

I felt it yesterday as well. I was in the office shutting down my laptop and suddenly feel like someone is shaking my chair. I taught the ghost in the building is trying to mess with me but since everyone felt it as well... most probably it's the tremor lah... :lol:
Everyone rush down to the office compound and I rush down as well... straight to my car and drove off... :lol: :lol: :lol:

My staffs told me today that a lot ppl are rushing and leaving their office, there was a terrible jam at the hightway from phileo damansara toward LDP and NKVE, in all direction. :D While I having my ciggy break and ica cappucino. :D

I felt it yesterday at about 6.18pm at my office located at the 3rd floor of the hotel's building. At 1st, I thought I was having a bad headache until my staff told me whether I noticed any movement & my wife called from Menara Public Bank JB to inform me of the tremor.
This morning also at about 10am, there's another 1 as when I'm at the 20th floor, I noticed the 3 chandeliers hanging are swaying. Also my wife calls to notify me as some office building are evacuating their staffs.

I was at Setapak when it happened, so feel nothing, may be because by distance, Setapak is far north from KL and further away from Sumantera.
