After a 3 months break from modelling, here's my 1st build since to kick start building.

Its a trumpeter J-10 built out of box, except for the tail with the PRC flag masked and sprayed onfor the upcoming China's 60th anniversary celebration.

Took the photos only to realize that i have forgotten about the weathering...

Nice i like it, looks like an unusual scheme for the PRC aircraft.Normally they are a bit more boring.

Very nice. Looks like Chinese version of Eurofighter.

Nice work, excellent 'what if' scheme.

Could consider adding on some catchy phrase (using laser printed decals) such as:

'60 Fabulous Years of Mao' or

'60 years: The spirit of Mao Tse Tung'

Interesting, this J-10....quite advanced shape. Nice build there too...

If this is a what-if scheme, you can put the Chairman's face on the tail!

for the 60th anniversary, maybe u should have added chairman mao's pic on the fin..hahaha

It crossed my mind to put Mao's face there . Also thought of putting the letters 60 on the tail. But didn't because it was built during the raya break i didnt have access to laser printer to print the decal. And to spray the stars on is already pushing it considering the time contrain. So had to omit "60"

Maybe the next... J-8 maybe?

PS twong, its actually chinese version of the Lavi. it does look a lot like the Eurofighter
