Hi guys... after many WIP and few completed one... i've decided to make a change... skip the WIP and post only the completed kit...

A brief of what was going on... this kit was bought GOLD. The so called limited edition old kit with huge flashlines, injection pin mark at some hard to handle place. and not quite accurate details. I bought this because the new one is way too small. What i did was :
- stripped the gold with the help of cocorex.
- Paint the windshield 1st, then radiator wing, then to the body mixing my own colour again
- Spray Gloss coat all over with Future (ran out of acrylic gloss)
- Apply Enamel washes with Testor Dark grey...
- Spray Matt Coat on the light grey part, minimised on the radiator
- Handpaint Future on the radiator...
- Super cut short progress huh...

So here it is

Lotsa finger print... there's pilot in it... but the pilot was molded in REBELS pilot... so i slap on a piece of bondite to erase the face profile... and paint the pilot black.. and dark grey interior... can't see nothing without LED... ahhaha

Really salute when I see you tackle all the big seamlines, pin mark.. all well done. :D I got this AMT kit too, every time I just open the box, play around and put it back to the rack, cause really lazy to build. :P

wow i like this. Was thinking of getting me one of these as well but heard many stories about AMT kits so really dont have the courage to try tackle one of these yet but you did great :o

Maybe should add in some LED lights :P betcha it will make this baby come to life ;)

This is a nostalgic kit for me. I built it many years ago before I had an airbrush and it got lost when I moved house along with a built B17 and He111.... sigh...

I think the details are still pretty decent and looks the part for the interceptor.
My "twin" brother here was too lazy to clean up the seams at the main cockpit 'ball'... OOOOiiiiii!

thanks guys.... but i really put like 2% effort on dealing with the flashes, seams and injection mark... i only deal with the big one, like holes, and realy really big flashes...

despite of what u mentioned, i still think this is a very nicely done kit, especially knowing it's an AMT.

Mebbe also it's because i think Tie interceptor is the best designed space craft in Star Wars (besides star destroyer)....

Thanks a lot, Ray...
Yeah... TIE Interceptor is the best designed grunt spacecraft...
