Title: Kawasaki Zzr1400
Description: Tamiya 1/12

viper1972 - September 22, 2009 03:08 AM (GMT)
This has been a challenging project, given that I haven't done a bike model since restarting this hobby in 2004.

Lots of painting throughout the subassemblies, and lots of metallic parts.
Learnt how to remove chrome plating using bleach.

Here are the 'studio' pics.

Fairings off, to show the detailed engine modelled by Tamiya.

Thanks everyone.

@sky_tokyodrifter :
I painted the seat using Flat black with a few drops of clear gloss mixed in.
That gave me this semi-gloss look.

Thank you sir, yes I removed the plated chrome using Kao bleach.
I repainted using Alclad II chrome.
