hi all. this is my 2nd thread, its a mini GB comprising of vipers operators in the Middle East. Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain and Oman. the UAE and Israeli are yet to be added to the stash.


first - egyptian blk 32, built OOB from the academy kit. the kit has flaws, such as poor fitting wing. but otherwise the rest decent enough. academy place the lerx joints above the top bottom plastic halves, so we modellers would not have to sand through the delicate lerx region.



bad fittign elsewhere



wing root gap was attempted to fill with superglue-powder, but i reverted to my usual technique of tamiya putty(lots of it)



wheel well detail is not fantastic compared to tamiya or kinetic

the next is italeri's barak b/d kit, for quite a long years the only 2 seater apart from the hasegawa kit. however it is extremely inaccurate in many areas, especially the spine. nonetheless with some coreections it can be a nice finished kit. first i changed the small mouth intake to a big mouth, using a modified hasegawa.


i cut the old piece of italeri to fill the gap





and support inside with plastic sprue


the cockpit is quite buttony and detail, although i think accuracy is off.



the spine fits quite nicely, although some seam lines will need to cover
