Hi,
Mirage hobby kits have been available is Australia for many many years. Didn't sell too well (the U-boot kits were selling for about AU$11 at NKR models website, AU$18 at the local hobby shop), can usually pick them up cheap at model swap meets. The prices at HLJ are very good.
I have most of their U-boat kits (before they were issued with PE and resin), some of their ships and armour. Airfix sells the HMS Montgomery and St Albans under their brand name.
The level of detail is acceptable, they can be built into really nice models with a little effort. The early 1/35 armour kits are rough. You can tell which ones they are from the price, which is lower than their 1/72 range, which are recent releases
Post some pics soon.

I have 3 of their sub kits. As Kuman mention they do have a wide range of sub kits. If I'm not mistaken Argrillion has one of their armor kits. If you are looking for cheap kits and small scale subs Williams then Mirage should fit your requirements however the fit from kit to kit can vary a fair bit as well as the level of detail. I suppose one gets what one pays for in some of the Mirage kits and in other Mirage kits you get value for money. Having resin in some of the sub kits are nice though.

thanks guys... now im listening to real review...
MIN... that's a nice Uboat details...!!!
i once purchase a 1/72 F16 kit from Mastercrafts Model... and the fitting sure need real big effort to repair, skills i've yet to obtained... and its thruster have zero details, it looks like a BUCKET...
guess i'll buy the cheapest exotic tank and see if i can make it to a "sci-fi-what-if" tank... without your explaination... i would have blindly buy more kits and regret...
thanks again guys...
