Title: Jeb 'jeb' Stuart
Description: 54mm Andrea Series General

Guys
This is Andrea's depiction of James Ewell Brown Stuart as he would look in 1863. Was that the Gettysburg year? And remember the ghost who guides the Haunted Tank in DC's GI Combat series? One of my favorite comics.
The inside of the hat and the space between the sash and sword were hard to reach but overall a nice figure to paint.

Cheers

The period photo certainly looks the part. ^_^
Couldn't the hat & sword be left off until you've got the hard to reach bits done?
cheers

Thanks Pooh. This is a case of easier doing it the hard way  I daren't risk assembly after painting as any glue marks, fit adjustments or more handling could jeopardise the final finish.
Cheers

Hi Patrick,
I had this one too.... You did it well especially the detail attention on JEB unusual beautiful eyes for a man.
The figure painted most beautifully by two masters - hPepe Gallardo (Spanish) and Richard Parrison (French) - I saw them in life - really breath taking...

Thanks Allan. I noticed you have all the well known figure kits and would assume also that some were given to you since you're rubbing shoulders with the best painters and manufacturers. Any chance of you clearing your stash? ;)

Hi Patrick,
I do have some free kits occassionally but not that many though, mainly Asian friends like Young, Alpine and Miniature Alliance. Lately some Polish new companty also sending me some kits.... mostly I paid from pocket money...Unfortunately caught a common modeller illness of buying "20 figures paint 1" so quite a bit of collection, Trying very hard nowadays to self control, only very nice figure I will invest....
Do have quite a bit of older large scale figures in doubles though...
