I just love all your drawings man hehe but this girl, i think the breast is a bit "falling down"? not to be a pervert but you know how i like your drawings man and everything has to be perfect right? hehe. Go with pink ice cream with melted choco on top. To make it look cuter, maybe some hair pins in a shape of pikachu or butterfly or etc, where the hair is pinned behind the ears?

By the way, is this contest for Japanese version? then go with coloured hair which is not black or brown, the Japanese people really dig that. :lol:

I'm not really sure what the organizers look for in such competitions. From my layman's point of view shouldn't a drawing be planned around a theme? If its going to be a for example a "fun day at the beach" theme then I would probably have more than one girl, say a bunch of girls playing volleyball to suggest that they are having fun in the sun. If it was going to be quiet reflective mood, then maybe I would have a sweet looking girl in a long, flowing dress staring at her reflection on a pond where we only get to see her full face on the water surface as the back of her head is facing the viewer.

Like I say I really have no idea what is the criteria for these competitions but for me the "mood" created by the drawing would always be interesting then just a straightforward drawing of a face. Just my more that 2cts as usual.

You should drawing something they want, not what you like.
The organizer have mentioned "The Cutest Girl will make our hearts melt and elicit a collective "awwwwwwwwww" as soon as we look into her doe-eyed face. "

Your girl seems a bit too mature and cool.
Big eyes and great body is always the eye turner, but just don't over do.
Facial expression is very important, u may think about naughty look, sad look, etc...
you should also think about more cute and sexy pose for her.

u may have a study on those successful anime characters.
for eg. those girls in the comic IS.

'IS' or 'M' right .......... hmmmmm finish back ground then back to girl the deadline in madakar day ..

The only problem that I can see is that there is something wrong with the perspective of the upper body. Currently, it looks like her body is wedge shaped because the area from the side of her rib cage to her right breast appears to be flat instead of round. Try curving the 3 or 4 lines to the left of her wrist to fix the problem and give her body more volume. Stick closer to your original sketch and you shouldn't have a problem.

Also watch out for the perspective of the background compared to the girl in front. As far as I can judge, there shouldn't be so much road in the background if she is standing up. (If you are at eye level, and you are looking forward at someone in front of you, do you see the floor directly behind her?) Remember that your figure is part of the background, not just someone standing in front of a wall. If the piece of grass and dirt is supposed to be a hill, try to make it more obvious.

Sorry if the criticisms are a little strong, but since you are representing us, I can't allow you get shot down because of a few careless mistakes. Let me know if anything that I just wrote is too confusing, I'll try to sketch up something to explain it better.

yap she is on a hill, and i can take criticisms :D i will add in the face as the next stet tomoro night to night is sculpting night for me, oh ya need to add in some tree branch..

If that's the case, then I suggest you move the hill slightly further back because it looks too steep if it's placed so close to the foreground.

Then just fix the perspective on the chest and you got a good picture.
