Hi All,

I spent the last weekend completed this figure in 11hours. It is from Doug's Original set. Overall a painter friendly figure except I don't like the spruing, end up a bit of putty work and clean up needed...

My record figure done over 2 days.... it is painted for a good friend to fit in his beautifully painted Panzer III G Africakorps

My friend, sometimes a fast, good mood job can turn out better than the slow and careful-not-to-make-mistake work. It's like dribbling. When you're on the run with the ball it's easier to round opponents with one or two deft touches. One of your better jobs this one. Wires trailing down to the legs would compliment it.

Truly a beautiful piece Allan. What catches me eyes are the use of highlights which on a rough percentage basis is higher than the shadows. Despite a lower coverage on the shadows they make a strong impact especially in the lighting on the 1st pic. where because they're really dark bounces of well against the larger ccoverage of highlights. The shadows at the lower end of the fieldbluse where the flaps overlap slightly is a gem.
