Guys,

After my previous posts of my Merdeka GB project - "Tugu Negara"
- WIP01 - Tugu Negara, body posture conversion
- WIP02 - Tugu Negara (weapons & Gears), Accessories parts
- WIP03 - Tugu Negara (dryfit Gears & Weapon), Dry fitting

Now this is the how I'm building the base.... as said B4, I'm no good in building diorama. Especially those involving jungle scene. But for the Tugu project it has to be a Jungle scene. So wanted a base about 6 inches square base, and I can't find one commercially available after look through several souvenir shop (they all said it's too big and too expensive to custom made one).... So finaly I've spotted this wooden box in Daiso IOI outlet, which I don't know what's the original purpose of it?? It's base is about 5.6 inches square and about the size I wanted.

Next, using foamboard cut to vatious sizes (learn this from SIFU BEACHBUM). I'm using these to stack up concept like a contour map to build up the hi and low ground.

This is the final base structured. And I'd like to say that it's not easy to build up those hi-low ground so they suits all the figures as our Tugu Negara....

THE DEAD ENEMIES:
There're 2 dead enemies laid at the foreground of the base. SO I've sculpted 2 asian looking heads and added them with the unique 5 pointed communist cap witha red star in front.

The 2 dead bodies were carefully lay on the ground. In another words, the foamboard was carefully cut to fit the dead bodies....

DAAAAAYUMMNNN....

hard to believe really... i mean without plastic molding machine... without 3d cad rendering... without high tech machines... yet things like this come out...

I'd guess the layman audience who sees the complete work might think this is just another custom CAD designed, and molded by machine kit....

Perhaps... a simple print out of the prime shot of the wip can make audience understand...
