Guys,

Yesterday and early this morning two of my staff has been confirmed with early symptoms of the Maiele flu!! One just returned from her holiday in Koh Samui and the other via local transmission. So, i'm off to HKL for a check up, just in case.

I urge you my friends, if you have anybody with flu like symptoms around you (they are treating all flu case now as Selsema Maiele), please ask them to go for an immediate check-up, including you!!!

Oh by the way, see you guys around at the hobby shop today!! :D

Aiyooo... I forgot to bring the mask that I bought from Kuman to the office today lah...

Our other office in KL has one confirmed case of H1N1. Now every morning our body temperature is scanned and they also provide hand sanitizers at each department as precaution.

Maiele = 'pig/swine' in Italian.
Maiele flu = H1N1

Yesterday afternoon got 1 fatality case in Putrajaya.

OHH sorry for being so nerdy hehe. I dont actually know because Malaysia everytime change the title H1N1, maiele flu, swine flu, pig virus and i forgot the rest. In Japan we just call it swine flu habis cerita hehe :P

No lah... not that the govt change the title, although there were some issue regarding the 'flu labelling' when it was detected here.

No disrespect, but the designation H1N1 is starting to sound like WW 2 & old US Navy aircraft designations like:

A6M2
F4F-3
F4H-1

etc.

One of my staff at Thailand also a confirmed H1N1 case last week, make me not dare to go to the office... :o

does wearing the face mask REALLY helps against infection?

H1N1 is the government name for Swine Flu in the US. They change the name to calm the public. In the US the government says it is ok to go out in public even if people are infected. They even keep schools open with known cases. The principal (chief) of a school here said it was ok to go to school even though they had the flu and the principal died a few weeks later. The government said he died of the common cold and not the H1N1 flu (swine flu). Pretty coincidental don't you think? Just my 2 cents.

there were this thought and talk about such flu is spread by the US gov under a special operation... it started somewhere in mexico... known to be a rural filled country and closer to US... It was said vaccine is currently a top secret information and shall be kept until the specific date of such operation...

The purpose of doing so is to curb with the still financial instability condition in the US... The vaccine will then be announced its effectiveness in a year or two or more... then the whole world will buy the vaccine from them... that's when it will make some extra cash for its citizen...

Strong and rich country like china... i believe they are researching for its vaccine... and if they were to announce their discovery earlier than US... the worried US might make a statement that the vaccine might not be stable...

Well of course... these are just talks... but it does sound plausible... what do you guys think?

The same talk are circulating in the health community over here. It's said that the virus is unlikely a product of natural mutation, but more likely to have been engineered in a lab. Unlike us, the US doesn't go looking for people with symptoms. They also don't give out travel advice to stop cases in US to spread to other countries.

Sounds like a fast way to make big bucks for pharmaceutical industry over there if u ask me...

Talked about Name Change, last time i come across the name of A H1N1 become "Ah HeeNee Virus" = A HI NI ... so Kids won't know what you talking about! ...

yes..yes..B1N1 aka bini is the most dangerous of all ..especially after collecting year end bonus or dapat duit lebih...then head straight to 'workshop' ie you 'work' , she 'shops' !!! :D
