Title: Italeri 1/48 Hh-60h Released In Europe

Here is a link to see Italeri newest release of 1/48 HH-60H Rescue Hawk. The link has images of the plastic and markings. They only change the port side fuselage and add new sprue for extra pylon, gun and fuel tank. There is still a lot missing from interior and exterior. It is a good base to start with though. The port side pylon is from very early HH-60H and not what they use today, hellfires are not present, neither is forward sensor and night vision. Markings are for 1991 deployment, even back then HH-60H carry hellfire missiles. Italeri not doing their homework. I will still get though. I have Cobra Company resin conversion set that correct most problms with Italeri kit.

Thanks for the info!

As a fan of the 'S-70 family', I will probably get one.

Another slight disappointment from looking at the sprues:

Looks like the sliding windows on the port side are molded to the port fuselage halve.

It would be great if they molded it separately so the modeller has the option of perhaps adding a M60D or M240 at that station to spruce up the model.

Hi f-4dable,
The HH-60H port windows are separate. They slide to either side of the openings. I posted a reference pic at the end of my finished SH-60B in aircraft forum that shows how the windows slide. Here is another ref pic I found on the web that shows port side windows.
