The below pictures are recently taken at SIC (Sepang International Circuit) during the Japang GT4 Malaysia race.

This is Malaysia's latest police supercar squad called "Helang(Eagle) Lebuhraya (Highway) Polis (Police)". Refers to an auto website.. PDRM says the Evos will be used in high-speed car chases, particularly in cases of carjacking, kidnapping and hijacking.





















So modelers...u can start to build a kit with these reference pics. :lol:

ok i was bored so i just played with the helang design and tried to duplicate it for decals. But just play play for fun only so no finish product ^_^ . It seems that its possible to duplicate this design hehe since the most difficult part of the design I managed to tweak :P

Bro, take a look at pictures 7 and 8 in Peter's picture. The logo on the right rear spoiler is different than the left (the shaking hand logo). Too much logo on one car.... what are they trying to prove haa???? and who designs the overall look of the scheme?? Looks more like a funfair car than a police car... :(

Hehe i noticed that before. There was no clear picture thats why i didn't try to do that one too hehe. Very hard to tweak from a far distance pic. The rest of the design is easy to duplicate already :P . The only problem is the roof light because i dont think there is a kitt that can duplicate that police light on top of the roof. It is very flat type "leper"

too me, it's the coolest marking ... some of us complain that our Mig, Sus and hornets are painted with a boring scheme... so maybe they heard us but since budget were used to other stuff, they try to do it on our evos... hmmmmm....

The design is not actually easy to make. As you can see, I just played around with the design and tried to duplicate it but the challenging part is that the stickers are not flat so have to do a lot of skew, adjusting etc but i think its not that hard :P just need to buy me self an evo x in order to make the design perfect. Takut scale lari :ph43r: anyway. I'll just try my best. hehehe

There's more design need to add on for decals. From what I can see, the additional marking needed:

The shaking hand emblem on the right side of the spoiler.
The eagle head on 'Police Highway Eagle/Helang Lebuhraya Polis' lettering.
The 'POLIS' lettering on the front door.
The 'POLIS' lettering on orange-yellow stripe on the hood and bonnet.
The PDRM cygil at the back door.
The website address on the rear bumper.
The 'racing stripes' on the back door. Though it can easily be painted, decals would be very helpful here.

Just for fun, maybe the roadtax sticker added into the mix :lol: .

memang aku nak real car...but bajet restrict me..so 1/24 will do for now..

A.. Guy's I think , all the logos and sticker for that police evo is nice and very creatif.. maybe the one who design it thinking 1 stiker = to 10 km/h... :lol:
anyway i've seen the good logo patched on the new police motorbike.. and the result is that the emblem is very blur... like they just blow it to size from a small pic.. :huh: .. anyway the evo is a very good choice to replace the ageing Volvo.. should also replace the pajero to something like CSI HUMMER :P ...

7) Close up of the 3 radio antenna's on the rear of the car

If anybody else can get other details also good hehe. I'm trying to draft the side racing stripes :lol:

1) For the lights on top you can use clear plastic sheet for the internals (quite simple) and vac form the external parts (correct shape and dimension of the lights are important in this case).

2) The lights they are using are mainly strobe lights. Don't think it is the rotating ones and the wires for the lights is going in straight through the roof.

3) The eagle head and the crest on the bonnet will need more than Illustrator or any photo manipulating software to get it right. The hardest part is to get the right colour transition unless you can get a really close up picture of it with high resolution.

4) Below are the picture of the interior. It shows just a bit but the internal is basically standard except for the computer in the middle. Other things are mostly inside the glovebox. From the picture you can also see that there is no barrier between the rear and front seat much like all the other police cars (except the K9 unit). Credit goes to the owner of the picture.

i also noticed there is a sticker on the dashboard "EAGLE 10" haiya this also need to make :P

I think 'Eagle 10' is the unit number. PDRM have 20 (or 25?) of these Evo X. So the decal can have number from 0 to 9 la.
