i read somewhere in internet, when in firing position, the suspension of Karl will have to be lowered (return roller almost touching roadwheel).

The dragon kit depicts the Karl in transport position.

Yeah. From the photo with the Tiger, I think the suspensions and tracks looks weird, even for transport. If I'm not mistaken, the road wheels are quite close to the Idlers and the sprockets can almost touch the ground wan.

I don't understand, why the bullet loader will touch with the turret when the turret turn up and down, the real thing is like this or the kit problem???

I am confusing now........

afaik, The Morser needs to place the barrel horizonally when loading. After that the loader tray will back off and start cranking the barrel to the angle of fire.

Must have been difficult to crank this huge barrel.

It looks absolutely great, except that the road wheels part looks like cleaner than the hull.

Back to the firing position topic, I'm actually quite confused also. Some reference says that having the drive sprocket up is actually the firing position. But since that your model is actually at it's loading stage, so... either firing or transport position also make sense. :D

The camo scheme looks real. Loki was captured by the US near the Rhine river, when Loki was transported there in the plan to blow up the Remagen Bridge. The photo of the captured Loki (I saw it in book, can't find the photo online) actually had it's engine hull blown up, dunno whether from enemy fire or blown by the crew itself. That reference photo wore the same camo pattern as your model.

Great job on the Loki, I always loved models that has a good story behind it to tell about.

I wish some plastic model companies would release a kit of it's transport carrier. :ph43r:

the ratio of thinner to paint is important bos, brush stroke appears when there is too little thinner in your wash.

90% thinner + 10% paint, will get you a very fine tint. what you need is tinted thinner, not diluted paints.
when you apply them, apply it wet on the whole kit , banjir bos, once dried ,apply again. try to work with different shades on different section of the kit, this will break down the dull one tone wash.
