Thanks for that Jason
BTW, those pipes connecting to the wheel hubs..for the central tire pressure system...the Italeri version does not have it at all...
You have any info if this was overlooked in the kit or the Brit version doesnt have it?
I would think for my Aussie version ive got to scratchbuild them....even tho not visible under the wheel covers...

Haven't gone that far into the kit yet but I doubt they varied much if at all between the various countries using them so you could most likely put it down to missing detail if it doesn't have it.
Perhaps someone who knows more can clarify.

Shah, comparing the instruction sheet against the driveline diagram, it looks like the shafts are provided in the box? Or are you referring to some other pipings?

Pooh, I mean these things:

Also on the front wheel too....
No such parts in my kit...are you using the DUKW Malaya version or the US version?

I'm using the British Royal Army (Malaya) version and no, those pressure links aren't provided in the kit.
Here's another site showing the dashboard with the tire pressure gauge for different terrains. Seems like this dukw can change pressure on the fly.

Ah ok, same kit as me. Anyway, I find that some Ducks have them and some dont. Im not going to fit them as they look awful :P
Yes changing tire pressure on the move is important as the duck moves on soft sand...low tire pressure prevents it bogging down. Once on tarmac, tire pressure can be increased. Lots of soviet vehicles today use this technology incl BTR80, BRDM, Zils, Urals etc
