First of all I would like to apologize to brother unknownuser for talking about other GB's in your thread. I know that most of us cant wait for the WRC GB to finish. Its about to finish so why not all of us brainstorm what to do for the next GB for a while to take a short break out of WRC GB.

While talking with some of the guys I decided to summarize ideas that we already have as stated below:

1) NISSAN GTR GB
2) NISSAN GB
3) TAG-TEAM GB (2 person's WIP in 1 thread)

I thought that since the next GB, everybody had different things they wanted to build so I figured why not have a tag team GB? meaning 2 people tag team and come out with their own theme for the build like example team NISSAN GB or team TOYOTA GB or team MOTO GP GB or team FAIRLADY Z. By having this I think that everybody can have a chance to build what ever they want and like broder snake said to make it more colourful :P . No winner or looser just for fun ;)

For this tag team GB, the question is to do a build-off (meaning VS each other) or we do team (meaning 2 person help each other in 1 thread to come up with the coolest twin ride)

Any other ideas guys? spill out your ideas guys ;) anything goes

hehe not yet decidedlah bro. We need to brainstorm first with any ideas that everybody has then only we decide baru shiok. Waiting for other sifu's and seniors to give their ideas ;)

Let say, bro sky_tokyodrifter do the front bumper and then pass it to cham2020 to do the rear bumper, and again to bro azlandiver to do the widebody and pass it on..... till it finish. possible or not :)

I would suggest that we have a very big group build event. I suggest the name will be the "Ultimate Auto and Bike Group Build".

This GB will start right after the WRC GB and will end the same date with ScaleModelsMalaysia 2009/10 whenever that will be. The criteria on this group build... build as detail as you can and the best you can.

There will be two categories in this GB, superdetailed and detailed.

Superdetailed:
Entry of any type of bikes/cars that is superdetailed either with PE, scratchbuild, resin, wires.. Cars will have to have engine and the engine needs to be superdetailed with wiring and etc... same with the bikes.

Detailed:
Detailed does not mean investing in PE parts or resin parts but detail as in anything that makes the car looks as real as it can like adding seatbelts, key in the ignition, sunshade (most model kits is lacking in this), etc...

Since the duration will be long, this does not mean that other auto/bike GB won't be able to be organized. Other GB can also be held throughout the duration (eg; GTR GB, Nissan GB, Honda GB, etc).

I am suggesting this GB because every year during ScaleModelsMalaysia event, the auto/bike models is always have the smallest amount of participation and from the same modeler. At least with this GB, we can have more participants and more models to showcase during the event and at the same time with the smaller cars/bike GB that will be held concurrently with this Ultimate Auto and Bike GB throughout the duration, just imagine the number of model cars and bikes that will be displayed at the event... :D

Again... just my suggestion... :D

Actually, instead of tag-team gb, it'll be much more fun if it is called BUILD-OFF.

Similar to Biker Build Off (Astro Discovery TURBO channel) 2 person build same subject and 'race' against each other to see who finish first, without compromising the build quality of course.

To make it more 'interesting', a person can start a thread by mentioning what subject he wishes to build and 'dare' fellow modeller for a build off. Once a challenger replies to the 'dare', then the build off can commence. Both party should agree on the deadline and start building to meet the deadline.

How's that sound?

Then the GB title should something like "DARE ME GB" hahha :lol:

I do realise that not much people are into car modelling, so any plan for the next GB should be 'U' UMUM, or suitable for all sorts or people, the bigger the participants the better i guess :)

But I'm ok with GT Car GB, Nissan GB, Nissan GT-R GB, Super Engine Detailed GB, Detailed GB, TagTeam GB, Dare Me GB, or Ferrari GB, Porsche GB, Mitsubishi GB :D

I think the best way for all of us to decide in the future what GB to do, maybe we can all list up what kits we have. just my 5 cents lah ;)
