Not to say newly released items, I mean some variety in the kits....italeri, revell, trumpeter etc make lots of kits...perhaps different ones in every batch instead of the same old subjects? I can think of a lot of current or old release never arrive here....for example, recent Apollo 11 kits by Revell...

My 2 cents la, of course they have to import whichever they think can sell..observation onli...

Sounds like you work for MH, if you do, then you should take customer comments in a positive way. We are just providing you some feedback, which could lead to more sales for MH. Engage with your customers instead of accusing them. We modellers just want to make models, we dont take side or have any agenda.

However, if you cant see it that way, then its your loss. How to support local hobby shops if this is the response we get for some constructive opinions?

well i just order form MH in the morning just done with paying .. then at night the restock list pop in ..... talking about wrong timing at my end .... now what to get next..

I just got MH to send my shipment to me and I saw the list.

Any figuremania there? Saw the Dragon's few new kits? The allied assualt and the panzer riders??

I think I don't need to elaborate further.

We modellers shop as often as ladies.
So when there's new arrival we expect "those stuff other than the one currently sitting on the shelf". Not neccesary new product release from the manufacturers ;)

DML's Monte Cassino 1944 allied assault kit is nice. Each figure provided with three (or was it two?) alternate heads of different races for varied mix of allied soldiers (including Punjabi). If you get one, you will be way a-head, several heads in fact, of anyone else (pardon the pun).

BTW, Trumpy's ASLAV looks interesting too. Has anyone scoped it out? How's it look?

eh... already ordered 2 sets... so I got about 8 punjabi and 8 grukhas head.. Believe the Grukhas will be good if we are to make any local scene. :P

ASLAV is a nice kit. Some comments that it is not too accurate by I beleive, a ASLAV driver in Armorama, nevertheless, good kit.

ok which of the dragon figure kits are the new tooled and come with pe ..i have not play with pe much so really want to try ..oh and germans if poseble :P

I think the gen 2 figures got PE.. not too sure... Things ordered, not shipped and not seen yet on this two kits.

Theere were some reviews and heard that the winter panzers figures were very well done.

From the list on MH site, there are 3 new ones, the 2 mentioned below and the Khrakov which is a Gen 2, I think,........

If you think that my opinon are trying to bias to others local hobby store, than you are wrong.

I really hope that you are just new in this industries, hobby and community. Need not to know that how much of support I was given to MH, in term of;

Monetary - check your database, I'm one of your top 5 customer last year.
Time - check your old photo album if u can, I appear in almost every event of MH.
Sharing - helping out and share my knowledge among your new or old customers. Working close enough to MH management ppl to helping them what ever they need.

DML Gen2 figures typically comes with PE and beautifully detailed parts using slide mould technology. You're likely to end up with lots of spares too.

Also their Premium release which is basically an earlier boxing but updated with Gen2 parts & PE. The earlier boxings & premium version can be differentiated by the PREMIUM label.

so any recomadation ? what to get ??? gen 2 of cos :P i just don't know which is which ..

Recommentation? All.. :P What do you want to build? WW2, Germans, British? US?

Take your time and look at the kits they have. U might want to look at Mini art and Masterbox as well...

The AFV Club M1134 ATGM Stryker is finally out.

Had wonder where did that post and link went?! But after reading through the thread...well...well...being sensitive, aren't we?? Criticism is to build one in a positive way, that's what most of here are for. Pity if one takes it in a negative way..we modelers don't lose in this ever shrinking business in Malaysia. Retailers does!!

The forums are here to promote the hobby in general. I for one looks what available locally if not I will outsource them. Just my thoughts......

but if the retailer doesn't value the respect of the small market size, they'll eventually lose their business and the hobby will shrink to nothing.

What a strange case. I can only surmise the fella had a vested interest in MH. No other reason why anyone would get so defensive and rude over simple opinions and suggestions. I think he has no idea why we make the comments we make. Perhaps MR KLX can explain himself?
