Description: They went a different way..
klay - June 9, 2009 08:51 AM (GMT)
Not sure if this has been shown before but just to share with you guys..
This Polish modeller really takes a step beyond our reach.. what money can't buy..
Making their own detailing parts.. just for the sake of their hobby..
Surely, this tomcat in 1/48 is the most "neatly" detailed kit I've ever seen till date.
Saw it few months back, but since entau was showing some crazy car scratch building stuff, must as well shown him this :P

can click this one
http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/lofive...hp?t166970.htmlEven just the first part of his wip is already crazy, sanding smooth the uneven clear canopy, re-scribe and polish it back, flawless..
Sadly, it's still not done yet <_<

I agree CK Loo. I just wish we can get the chemicals easily here because we already have a very good source of brass and copper sheets easily available locally.
I would love to try some photo-etching for details. :)

druid_99, so far the only chemical seemed not reachable would be photoresist spray/or photoresist film ;)
I've bought the FeCl2 for some odd trials though

This company,
REPgraphic seems to have the chemicals for etching. They quoted me the price for photoresist - brush on type (100ml), developer (4 litres) and etching solution (4 litres) which works out to a little over RM300.
Imran, where is the good place to get brass sheets?

Found this photo etch making set in the internet. But couldn't locate them in Revell's online catalogue.
