I wont comment on the technical aspects (maybe others can do better) but my 2cts is that I dont think the Bundeswehr ever allowed their tanks to be in such bad condition. These were never used in combat, only in NATO exercises, so should be dirty, but not rusty and bashed up. This kind of look may be more suitable for a battle weary T34/55/62
So, some philosophy here. It looks attractive with all the rust and chipping, but is the real thing like this? There is no right or wrong, as long as you know which you are going for.
Unless of course you are basing this on a ref pic of the real thing, in which case I stand corrected... :ph43r:
Friend,
I'm not a tank guy, but I did notice there appear to be a few seam lines on the kit.... especially on the springs on the hatch and another obviosly on the exhaust pipe tank.... Or they suppose to be there as welding lines??
Anyway, like your weathering.

mysyamal,
It's a very nice effort, but I got to agree with landyshah about the condition of the tank.
Bundeswehr tanks were definitely well kept (much cleaner than the US Army ones based in Germany in fact). Tanks and other AFV's were throughly washed down after exercises.
Of course during the late 50's, there were plenty instances when the cold war was actually pretty warm, so it's possible the Warsaw pact could have easily started WW III, which accounts for the weathering / battle damage! ^_^
