I had the fujimi's GT-R without engine, detail wise, i think certain part are more detailed than tamiya's, the engine version though i don't have it, but looking at the manual, i think its much much detail and more fun to built compare the tamiya's one which mold on the body

but... i do feel that tamiya's GT-R mold are more sharper and precise ^_^

haha..i don't really like the fujimi's front bumper..seems that fujimi forces us to place the number plate..but i do like fujimi for their japanese number plate decals..so, if i'm going to buy GTR, i would go for Tamiya first, later buy another fujimi version. just feel like tamiya will have more accurate look..

to be honest..the fujimi version is really poisonous..so much fun you will have with that!

haha..brother snake, easy to say hard to scratchbuild lah...but for me, tamiya half-detailed engine sudah okay..haha..

brother entau, that engine is really poisonous, it seems to have a full-detailed engine there..anyway, don't feel regret, buy another one..engine-less one make it showroom condition punya kereta, yg ada engine make it tuner style with big turbos race car lah..

Sky_tokyodrifter.... there's another Nissan GTR35 with Engine

Between the 3 GTR... i will go for TMY if wanna precise and nice scale but the engine compartment on the AOS kit looks better as it has the whole engine block mount onto the chasis instead of half-size built in. Whereas displaying the whole VR38DETT6 i would go for FUJ kit...

hahaha, I just got back from model survey. Right now there are 3 companies producing GTR = Tamiya, Fujimi, Aoshima. Today I managed to hold in my hands the aoshima version. The engine doesn't look that bad but I didn't buy yet. Waiting for the next GB in order to make decision. Too many choices right now huhu. Honda GB, Nissan GB, Hot rod GB, Bosuzoku GB, VIP GB, Gurachan GB, Superbike GB hoho so many to choose from.

P/S: abg PcEvo, This Aoshima GTR news went out 2 weeks ago, only managed to see the kits today. Very busy lately. The 20 inch BBS rims by Fujimi has also came out.

peace out

guys, i have a suggestion...why don't we have the group builds as in this way : WRC GB (which is in progress now), followed by Japanese cars GB, and then the Super cars GB carnival (ie. ferrari, lamborghini..)..what do you think?
