Gang of SFTPMS...

This is my Revell/Monogram 1/48th scale Prowler. Been doing lots of internet research and study from other people work... Here's my "version" of the infamous PROWLER

After Market item used are Aires Early Improved Capability (ICAP) and Paragon wing-fold set. There rest are some elbows, knuckles and sweat...

Also some notes to be considered if you want to built this kit OOB coz the wing is from EA-6/A-6 Intruder which is smaller and EA-6B Prowler wing-fold mechanism housing is bigger than Intruder. I didn't do much on the wing except installing the Paragon folding mechanism. Lots of correction to be made to this kit becoz of it inaccuracies like been armour-plating of A-6 got to be remove completely and bla...bla...bla... like missing antennae and so on...

Anyway here are the WIP... Still need a lot of thing to do but I really love the Aires cockpit :D So damn nice!!!... I think the quality is better than Black Box.

So after the last Varyag WIP, I managed to completed assemble but not painted 1 X F-16 from Revell, 1 X F-16A from Hase and Tamiya Aggressor and 95% completed 1 X Hasegawa CF-18A Hornet Tiger Meet 2003... :lol:

i feel your pain hash hehhe... the fitting can be quite a handful man.. at times superglue was required for me

U r really an aircraft manufacturing factory, cepatnya. Looks like the prowler needs a lot of hard work.

Zendened> I used CA as glue/cement cum gap filler... easy ma, 2in1

Zaidi> Couldn't agreed more, only some minor carving, scraping or dremelling on the bottom pilot tub where it can sit properly on the engine intake top and the inside of centre pillar. In fact this tub I didn't cement at all!!! loose fit... easy to adjust when the front windshield to be installed.

Your Prowler built look like a very tough built with lots ot work done just by looking at the pictures alone. How many packs of smoke spent until now? :D :D

Kind of interesting and actually for me, there are lots of learning "tips" learned just from your posting. I eyes are glued for your future posting too. :D
Yeah! that pack of smoke sure is worth it until it lost count. :D :D
