sky_tokyodrifter - May 22, 2009 08:13 AM (GMT)

koowilliams - May 22, 2009 10:12 AM (GMT)
no problem at all man... keep it up...

UnknownUser - May 22, 2009 10:17 AM (GMT)
brother...the mold lines are quite thick..should have a lot of sanding works to be done..

my first engine detail car was the 360 modena spider..but i bet yours GTR will be more challeging than my 360..all the best..

talking about the gaps..checked out my old GTR just now..I had the same problem as you are having now..my GTR was build 10 years ago, and the decals were turning yellow too..wish to see a nice build of the GTR..kep up the good work, brother!

by the way..is this GTR poisonous enough to make sky to start out his GTR? :P

Entau - May 22, 2009 10:21 AM (GMT)
takes slightly longer to completely remove it, compare this and the impreza wrc, that impreza is just a piece of cheese cake

hope my poison works :ph43r:

YGTan - May 22, 2009 02:40 PM (GMT)

What primer did u use? Can't wait to see this CLK of yours.... ;)

P.S .... i hope is not the lady on the decal that makes u build this CLK-Gtr...

Entau - May 26, 2009 02:59 AM (GMT)
BV: come come, start now :P

SKY: ur PE set lagi racun

pcevo: i think maybe this kit is abit old, between 1994~1997 i think, but the details are still very nice, i use mr surfacer 1200, using AB, not the lady, its the engine

This is the same PE that I got for my CLK-GTR. :D

Entau, you still got any photo of the engine part, like those you show me in your house that night? ^_^

Going to revive my CLK-GTR very soon. :P

sky_tokyodrifter - July 13, 2009 03:58 AM (GMT)
wahlawei abg kirin also going to start CLK. hehe. Meaning 3 people already have this kit hehe. Abg entau. Please share the engine picture ok. My refference not that good lah, cannot see engine detail clearly <_<

Entau - July 13, 2009 04:00 AM (GMT)
Got, but its in my computer, if both of you guys want it, PM me your emails, i'll email to you guys, fastre mah, no need upload to the slow photobucket :P

KIRIN - July 13, 2009 04:03 AM (GMT)
You got PM soon.

Wahlao, Bro sky also got this kit? Have to follow both sifu, you and entau's WIP closely for this build. Sure will learn a lot from you guys. :D

sky_tokyodrifter - July 13, 2009 04:17 AM (GMT)
Abg Kirin, where got sifu :P .

Hehe if you see the PE set, it was bought for my CLK. But sorry to inform you that I will not be starting this CLK soon because its a different one. The clear view type and my polishing skills for sanding mold lines are really bad. Especially on transparent items. So need to practise a lot in order to start this kit. Maybe after finishing my impreza and delorean, then I'll start on this kit so actually I'll be learning from you and broder entau hehe.

My CLK click me bebeh

haha I also PM broder entau already for the engine pics hehe. This sifu makes our lives a lot better. Very hard to find the refference wooo. Thanks again sifu ;)

sky_tokyodrifter - July 13, 2009 04:29 AM (GMT)
wahlawei I just received the picture from sifu entau. Really crazy detailings  thankssssssssssssssssssss bro. I shall try to duplicate 100% the same thing to the real car. Maybe gonna take me 5 months to complete haiya :(

Entau - July 13, 2009 04:33 AM (GMT)
Sky, im not sifu lah :P

its actually quite headache to look at those real reference pics, so i include others modelers' work, so u guys can decided how to simplified the details ^_^

sky_tokyodrifter - July 13, 2009 04:36 AM (GMT)
ok thank you again wahahahaha.

Abg kirin what do you think? difficult or not? :P

KIRIN - July 13, 2009 04:38 AM (GMT)
Email received and lots a lots of photos!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Entau!

Well, I will take this as a challege to build and duplicate as same as I can. But I will tell myself no stress on this one... take it as a leisure build or a side project.

KIRIN - July 13, 2009 04:45 AM (GMT)
Just open the third email and saw the Blue Original Teile!!!! Ishhhh... I already got the aftermarket decal for D2... So temptng to build the blue one....

oh my godddddddddddd :o :o

klay - July 13, 2009 07:19 AM (GMT)
And for best of all.. better get this standby..
http://hlj.com/product/MCS00112

I've tested it on a piece of clear pastic, once dried, I tried to crumble it. The dried film still there intact.. impressive..

I've seen multifilla's sample pic of their H2O, should be of similiar function, but I find the microsol one super thin once dried.
