this kit came with all the weapons, if not enough can salvage frm the mig 21 which have more then enough weapons.

as for decal, the kit came with sticker, so it's time for me to use my USSR decals.

If me, I go for frogfoot as well but sure need a lot of correction, superdetail etc.. If you have time, then go for kaki katak lah..

for others i would suggest mig21..
but for u BV.. i would say.. just build all 3 lar.. u CAN ONE!!

The box, you will not purchase it from the first look. I bought this from Tomcat @ RM15 if I'm not mistaken, half build.


The kit comes with sticker, not decal, so forget bout using it.


Plastic bit rought, have "orange peel" surface.


All the build instructions in 2 pages only, miss lots of steps.

this kit have no pins, or any guidence on where to glue, lots of testing before assembling

good luck building it..... with ur skill and patience, i believe the katak leg fill siap cantik..

btw, to qualify fot Su-25 pilot, all pilot should have a katak leg hence the 'chair' is designed in such a way........ :D :D :P

Seat modified and re-paint with khaki drab, added seat belts from TMY tape then add a dark wash.


the instrument panel is a clear part, painted the panels with Russian interior blue green, then the back with black follow by a dark wash. Finished with a final silver highlight and red dots.


some extra hand needed to hold the plane, look at the sink hole and sand like surface?

i think i saw in ARC Revell going to re-release this Kaki Katak...
maybe worht the wait and also they reported that GreatModels is taking pre-order for this KakiKatak as well..:D

injection pin marks in the intakes, the top one sanded smooth


the turbine are too small, can see through...


added some tissue insulation to block the lights


there's no marks for the inner intake insulation, hot glue were used to stick it, that's the best way. speedy and accurate.
