Title: Hello!
stormdomain - April 8, 2006 05:56 AM (GMT)
Hi,
I have been introduced by some of our Malaysian customers (who frequent Singapore to purchase model kits) to pop by to check out this small but growing forum deidcated to scale modelling in Malaysia.
Since we belong to the commercial segment, we hope we can assist in some ways. If anyone feel that it would be appriopriate for us to highlight our regular new arrivals and promotions in Singapore here, let us know!
Thank you for your kind attention!
Happy Modelling!
:D

Hi Rx-78-2,
Thank you for your welcome.
I have a short read on the various sub forums and find that some of the items/brands mentioned a couple of times here are available from us.
If anyone need them and need some price quotations, please pm me, as I think that it would be more appriopriate rather than putting the price on public to prevent issues for the moderators.
1. Alclad II (we are the only official distributor to date and new stock has been added only in March 2006!)
2. Vallejo Model Color, Air & Game Color Series & Andrea Miniatures series
( We have the biggest range and stock in Asia except in Japan & Korea. Almost 95% in stock for Model colors, 99% Model Air, 75% Game & 100% Andrea)
:D :D :D
Thank you for your kind attention! If there are any other brands or items needed, just give me a shout!
Best Regards

Welcome and thanks for the info. I cannot speak on behalf of the moderator but I think its alright to announce what you have minus the price
stormdomain - April 9, 2006 06:31 AM (GMT)
Hi Poopeh,
Thank you for your info and advise.
At the same time, we like to introduce a rather newcomer to the modelling market.
Miniart from Ukraine. We have recently received our first order batch for this brand. Their web address @
http://www.miniart-models.com/Some of their latest releases are absolutely world class. Especially their NEW Soviet T-70 (2 versions at this moment). This has set a new standard for model kits produced in Russia & Eastern Blocs countries.
Check out the below images!
http://homepage1.nifty.com/gizmo-cafe/clip...clipboard2.html :ph43r:
They would release their new tooled SU-76M in Nov. I am looking forward to that!

Welcome to the forum Stormdomain. It's great to have you on-board.
First of all, it would be great if you could announce your latest arrivals over here. However, as we have an agreement with the other LHS' (who are members over here also), they do not quote any prices in the forum themselves. Price estimates are OK for pre-orders material.
Secondly, we hope you would share with us some of your builts. I visited your webpage sometime ago, and you have interesting builts. Any latest projects you could share with us?
Thanks for supporting forum. We hope to hear from you more often.
stormdomain - April 10, 2006 08:43 AM (GMT)
Hi Argrillion,
Thank you for your welcome and will comply to the rules here.
We are in the middle of redoing our website / webstore, so we would put all the prices and details on our new website. We are planning to offer some special promotions to our Malaysian friends in the near future. Would keep you guys informed.
We are also talking to some friends in KL, and hopefully we can go up to KL with a S.T.O.R.M Roadshow and of course special one or 2-day special sales. In the end, we are planning to do a lot of things in KL, and we hope that would excite and grow the community in KL.
I have not built seriously for a while but did helped "destroyed" some of my friend's AFV models. Below is the link (hope it would work...)
http://web.singnet.com.sg/~stormer/M1%20Abrams%20NTC.jpghttp://web.singnet.com.sg/~stormer/swedish...v103B%20MBT.jpgI used MIG pigments to weather the kits. Well, we are also the official distributor for MIG in Singapore... :D

Hi Tang,
I met you the last time I was at your shop after my friend intro me to your shop....
I guess I must be one of the few singaporen in this forum...I was the one who you explain to me how to do filtering....hope you remember me....
BTW, some of the folks here are looking for Vallejo paint...I believe you have some ....
Just a suggestion, if you have new shippment, please announce it here...save me...
stormdomain - April 10, 2006 10:14 AM (GMT)
Hi Mikado,
Thank you for your posting.
If I am not wrong, I think I can still recognise you but there are a few guys asking about filtering recently, so bear with me if I am mistaken...
Yes, we have Vallejo, certainly in stock. And another new shipment batch is coming in to restock to 100% availability for Model Color series.
:)
We would try to announce only major new shipments here, as I am guest here and I don't want to make it too commercial for the rest of the users. Afterall, you get a lot of modelling info and tips on forums like this, and this is healthy for all. I for one support that.
Best Regards

stormdomain - April 12, 2006 07:10 AM (GMT)
Hi Silantra,
Thank you for your posting.
I don't know how many in this forum are Singaporeans here or staying/working in Singapore. I only know your fellow forumer, Mikado is staying in Singapore. :D
Our full Vallejo racks are always in shop. There is no way to miss them, unless they go to another hobbyshop?
As for Legend Productions, unfortunately due to commercial agreements, we decided to terminate our distributorship with them. Though, we still have some leftover stocks for Legend. And of course, these are going at very cheap offerings.
Today, we start our new series of inhouse promotion, if anyone is keen, PM me.
Get a FREE bottle of Andreas Miniatures Color (total 60 colours) when u purchase any MIG pigment powder. No limitation.
As a goodwill gesture from us, we would ship to KL FREE for this one-time order to only one location. I assume you guys need to consolidate in a group purchase with minimum 20 bottles of MIG powders!

Wow!!! Lucky you to be able to get on that Shizuka show :o ... how was the show this time round? Any new items?
By the way am looking forward to your launching of your site. :)
David Chan aka SAC 33
stormdomain - May 26, 2006 12:35 AM (GMT)
Hi David,
There are a lot of reports from various japanese based websites surfacing. One of them should be HLJ.com.
My personal thoughts are big brother T has imposed blockades against 2 of the most prominent non-japanese brands in the show, and that made this show lost the edge against the earlier Tokyo Hobby show.
As usual, Tamiya is in the rush to release as many 1/48th scale AFV items as possible before the market pick up.
Anyway, I spent most of my time in the fleamarket selling! :P
Together in the show, you would have a gathering of all hobby clubs in Japan on the last 2 days, so, you would see probably the biggest show of force of all the best made models in Japan (including a couple of foreign clubs from Taiwan & Korea). And I swear, we are talking about lots of models! All kinds!
For my new website, keep checking back.
Cheers!

Any photos you can share with us Tang?
stormdomain - May 26, 2006 11:01 AM (GMT)
As requested, below are some images, but I only took little images which interest me since most of the other sites would be more comprehensive...
;)

This is a huge sign at JR SHIZUOKA STATION! Shizuoka is well known for eels and green teas, and of course plastic modelling industry.

This is a cool nice environment on the east side of Shizuoka city.

This is the third in the series, and I must say that this is one cool mech!

hehe, this one no need to intro already. drooling!!

In 1/48th scale, this is one of the most beautiful kit come out from Hasegawa, is it me only that I like also some feedback from you guys, when Hasegawa releasing Japanese aircrafts, they are always "perfectionist"? Or is it me only?
some more later...
kelv_w - May 26, 2006 02:36 PM (GMT)
Excellent pics Tang! Can't wait to see more. Hopefully to see some event shots of the gathering too. :) thanks again
stormdomain - May 29, 2006 11:41 AM (GMT)
continue from the last post...

Finally a well retooled HGUC GP02. To date, I am only impressed with G-SYS (HK) rendition of GP02A. This one finally do some justice to the bad guys! ;)

New series from Bandai! I/35 scale UC Hard Graph series.

Another cool character set!
Looked like a promising series for years to come.

For a while, I thought I was back in Euro UK, but this is interesting. Tamiya actually would represent Andrea Miniatures to distribute Andreas in Japan. So, go figure!

Our classic joker in 54mm!
Cheers!

thx for sharing!!!

Aaah...Kenny I see you're trying to con the poor Gundam guys again to join armor. I think the excellent photos provided by Stormdormain (thanks for the kind updates) shows 1/35 figures from Bandai my friend not armor. I don't think you'll con the Gundam guys that easily. :)
Not too bad figures too for their first foray into 1/35.
Argrillion - May 30, 2006 03:56 AM (GMT)
Bandai is key for the alliance pact between Gundam and Armor. Check-out line darwings behind the figures. They have some interesting vehicles there. A nice touch on how future AFV would look like.

7. Vallejo Model Colors Series - Complete restock!
8. Warriors Scale Models - Some of the latest sets now available, including the highly regarded ZSU-23 and the T34/76 interior sets!
