a very beautiful build peter. i love it so much....
one of the most beautiful Z33 i ever saw :)
and its kind of unique as you said about the color, because normally top secret cars are in gold color right ?
UnknownUser - May 14, 2009 12:48 AM (GMT)
brother, it's really good to see your Z33 finally..have been waiting for this unique colour of the top secret Z33 for ages! well, a very good choice of the colour i would say...to be honest, i don't like gold finishing topsecret cars, and that's why i painted my topsecret R34 to blue..
the box comes with the CF decals on the hood? man, the most impressive part is the hood! i like it..and is that the rear lights come with prepainted? my R34 rear lights are prepainted..wonder if the Z33 is same..
dude, what do you think about Aoshima Z33 quality as compared to Tamiya Z33? The only difference i know between Aoshima Z33 and the tamiya version is that the front wheel can be turned for the former..
you make me wanna build another Z33! :P oh my goodness i'm infected with L1S1N1 virus! (lamborghini subaru and nissan)..no medicine to cure my illness but build cars might help..
and...checked out the price of AOS Z33 via ebay..man..it's much more expensive than the TMY Z33....sigh..
Entau - May 14, 2009 03:08 AM (GMT)
looks better in white, very nice and clean built ^_^
which part did u use the alclad chrome? :)
druid_99 - May 14, 2009 03:30 AM (GMT)

hazrinphixel - May 14, 2009 03:50 AM (GMT)

Thanx Cham2020... yup mostly is Gold color even their GTR35 is also Gold in color..but lately TopSecret tuned a R354 with the similar 'new striping' and is in Grey color....looks really cool man...can't wait for the kit or maybe use the Z33 decal and place into R35 :P

Nope UnknownUser... there're no CF in this box kit...it only comes with those 'stripes' decals... i spray the hood with TMY Gun Metal..
The rear lights comes in clear parts...i handpaint a portion of it with TMY clear red. Below is another rear view for u... :D

|
There are no problems in fitting nor much sanding needed for this AOS kit especially the fittings of the headlights..no glue at all..just slot in and wa la...Not sure about TMY .. will let u know as i'm building the Nismo Version :P
Thanx again guys... B)

Peter,
The best Z33 I've ever seen! Love the color scheme instead of the 'normal' flashy gold finish on Top Secret machines.
Hand itching to build Z33 too... must... resist... browsing... online... hobby store...
No visit to Tamiya Underground for me... must resist... purchase...

Yes UnknownUser ... this items comes in black for this kit so need to spray it.. i like the TMY which comes with 'metal silver' coating not like the head and rear lights.
As for the rear lights...just mask it and paint TMY clear red.
