Dear All,

I am posting this for Ian Hextall of Spearhead Miniatures ( UK ) to inform all interested parties of their new release. Here is the link to what's new from their line:

I have the honor of painting the box art for their 1/9 scale British Commando bust SM90004. It's resin and comes in 7 parts. The master is sculpted by Pete Morton. Good job by this well known sculptor and it was a joy working on it.

A very nice and welcome piece of a rare allied subject amongs the sea of popular German figures....

Like the face sculpt which make him really looks like one of those classic Holiwood Tommy....

Funny the link you've given take me forever to load the page...?? Can't see the break down parts... So did the kit come with optional helmet (without netting) or beret perhaps...?? I presume there's a back pack moulded at his back, right?

Jolly good paint work, as usual.

Pete Morton has made quite a name for himself with the Wee Friends collection and mostly on WW2 British subjects. Yet to order anything from them but I reckon, very soon that will happen.

Great painting job here again Patrick

Thanks fellas. Sorry for the delayed response.

Yes, the face sculpt is very good. So's the rest. Hardly any clean up to do. Could be due to this sample being from the first batch castings.

Try these:

No optional parts. What you see is what you get - 9 parts and yes, with a backpack.

Loo,
Yes Wee Friends is nice. I have handled them.

Cheers
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Finally found it. Well done and many congratulations on getting your name into the hobby box art world.

This looks like a nice bust and well sculpted with real British look... You did a great clean painting.

Allan
