Sgt Buds, Six Zero out!!
Brutus - May 10, 2009 02:08 AM (GMT)
Yer got yer viper finally eh?
mr b - May 10, 2009 12:10 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the motivation.........Bud
Brutus - THis one is the "c" lah I was looking for the "A" ..tapi sudah dapat
Some progress guys...........

Top fusalge sambung and vulcan housing in place........and all painted black

Cockpit done and washed ...........but I cannot get good shots.....due to light and camera..........

Main gear housing all done..........and washed.......the battery is a nice touch ........kudos Kinetic........
There is a gap between the HUD controls and the cockpit fairing.........I think bomber got that as well........so I need to built up some plastic card......and flush it out.......
Thats where I will continue.........and then the halfs are togeter........
Overall ...........this puppy needs lot of work.............but I aim to finish it decent........as I started it

masterqq - May 12, 2009 12:54 AM (GMT)
B,
This is fast, I inspected my AM as well, I saw a lot of ejector towers here and there including those hard to sand area like intake trunk.. did you get the same?
anyway, my construction start soon.. :D
mr b - May 12, 2009 01:11 AM (GMT)
Kuman - The Legend seat will not be used. It is too big to fit in well......do not want to spoil the side details..........so just the kit seat with Juruterbang.........perhaps....
Thomas - Yes.........so they are called injector towers.........is it.........lots all over the place....and yes in the intake area as well...............pls start your build log.......can compare notes......

Update 12/5/09
This was bugging me for sometime...........I closed up the fuslage.....tonight............not too bad.....also managed the plastic card trick on the panel and coming.........
Pics are as follows
Next is the nose section and intake..........and of course some clean up..........
In fact, the part layout and sequence is good......in units........so its like many small models into one............:0

hi mr.b nice viper in progress there..
just a bit curious.. i see u using those paper clips/clamps.. but i don't see anything laid between the clamps and the kit, wouldn't that creates some faint marks on the kit?? :o
mr b - May 13, 2009 02:26 AM (GMT)
Hi Klay
Thanks for the nice words....no imprints lah....infact I just took them off before leaving for work today.....must inspect more closely once I get back..........thanks
But on other kits usually no imprints.........left
