sky_tokyodrifter - May 7, 2009 05:15 AM (GMT)
hohoho its finally finished.

Brother kalam, only 1 comment for you "damn gorgeous"

YGTan - May 7, 2009 06:02 AM (GMT)
Very beautiful build!!!!!!!!!

SAC33 - May 7, 2009 08:42 AM (GMT)
Kalam,

Excellent, I thought the first pic was from your "garage" B) the car so real ... could have just put in F&F4

Just one question, did you purposely pose the wheels angled or was it just my eyes... I think no tyre will last long if the wheels are angled though .. just my 2 sen ... otherwise the paint job is FANTASTIC... B) B) B)

kalam2b - May 7, 2009 09:26 AM (GMT)
thanks 4 the comments guys.

As 4 tarmac attack, the wheels are puposely set at negative camber to increase the grip level and stability while cornering. :)

thanks.

fantastic build brother!
the first picture is just like the real car coming out from the garage..
behind that evo is the rx7 right?

awesome! it's just awesome!
very impressive paint job i would say...

but..just my opinion..i don't really like the angle of the wheels..

sky_tokyodrifter - May 7, 2009 11:35 AM (GMT)
i agree with brother kalam on the wheels. All tarmac race cars have a little angle on them wheels for more speed during cornerings. This style of wheels can best be seen on all "touring car races". After all during races, its not the straights that can decide winner or loser but how fast they can tackle the corners is the real test!

nice nice

PcEvo - May 13, 2009 09:02 AM (GMT)

A very nice and colorful build indeed kalam2b... i prefer the last photo taken really looks like those in the car magazine shots.

Superb mods on the 'negative cambers' settings...really suit this cars

Notice u have replace the rear wings also rite?

I think the 'black lines' on the orange stripes is too wide... just my cents la

I guess not. It's original Evo5 rear wing if I'm not mistaken..

...but It shouldn't be that wide... <_<

UnknownUser - May 13, 2009 10:30 AM (GMT)
the shape is from evo5 rear wing..maybe he mods it? hmm...this is a good question..haha..

kalam2b - May 14, 2009 11:08 AM (GMT)
agree with u on black lines. it's 1mm thick, i should print it 0.5mm.
the spoiler, the base is standard evo 5, but the upper spoiler is scrath built. :)

thanks.
