You can use this, its a lacquer thinner for gsi product. Ratio is 1:2 1 mr.surfacer to 2 thinner around 15-20 psi but that depands on how you spray. The number on it 400 means 400ml and 250 is 250ml. Mr. Color Leveling thinner means its cure slower than the other one to make time for the paint to level on the surface or means a thinner that been added with retarder.

Dear Arzwarth,

Can you use Mr. Color Thinner to thin down enamel paint ? Also, will Mr. Retarder work with enamel paint ?

thanks

I never use Mr. Retarder so I don't know its compatible with enamel or not.

No you cannot Mr. Color thinner to thin enamel. Tamiya enamel can use zippo fluid or better use enamel thinner picture below, can get from AF hobby if got stock.
