nice one mecha... but i think stronger highlights (i.e: drybrushing) will make it 'pop' out even more :)

Agree with Jimbo,

Being an all black creature, it needs some highlights. Use light grey or white to highlight the exoskeleton.

BTW, which manufacturer produce this kit? Is it resin?

If I'm not mistaken, I've seen alot of this kit (vinyl) Thailand re-cast... at Evil-bay....... cheap cheap USD12 something...

thanks for the tips guys, dry brushing eh? I'll try that out.

Its a resin kit, with no brand which I bought long ago. it's a thai recast, but definitely one of the better versions, only problem I had with this kit is the fitting, had to putty some gaps, shorten some parts and pin some parts together. surprisingly the exoskeleton and veins details came out quite good.

I have bought other thai recast that are a nightmare to work with. so this is considered quite good.
