Hi everybody..
I purchased this kit sometime in April and managed to complete it in July. Detailed photo etching I used 1/350 Akagi including the wooden deck. I did not used Fujimi photo etching due to the fact that the time I bought the model Fujimi has not produced it.
Overall I can say Fujimi is still yet to catch up with Hasegawa & Tamiya. No big issues during assembly but for me Fujimi shows less details. Hasegawa produced much better product especially for Naval kit, even better then Tamiya. I can say this because I have both 1/350 Shokaku and 1/350 Akagi in my display cabinet. I also have IJN Yukikaze, Mikuma & Mogami from Tamiya. Tamiya is easy to assemble but not as detail compared to Hasegawa. Fujimi on the other hand has much to learn. Other then Naval kit, Tamiya wins.
Currently, I have purchased Artesania Latina King of Mississippi from US but without Instruction Manual & Plans. My ambition to enter Ship Billings world is "on hold" due to this problem.
