UnknownUser - March 13, 2009 09:24 AM (GMT)
Hey guys..Another Z..
This is the Nismo Version of the 350z.
Well, it wasn't a satisfying build as the colour spray cans that I used weren't good. I used the industrial spray (flat black) as well, but it eaten my plastic..
Wasn't happy with the build..
everything is too late..

Anyway, C&C are always welcomed!
Thanks for dropping by dudes!

Oh my goodness! I'm turning myself to a Nissan lover! 'coz I have 4 350z, 2 R34 and a R32..
Among the four, I've given my friend a 350z as her birthday present, and break one of the 350zs..So I just have 2 left..

Still, C&C are always welcomed!

matt finishing....yeah

Good attempt but there are a few areas that needs cleaning up.

Do watch out for seamlines that is usually visible on car bodies. I can see a few on the bodies. All you need to do is to just sand it using 800 grit sandpaper and then wetsand it using 1000 grit sandpaper and believe me it will improve the whole look of the car.

The rear spoiler is a tricky one because it is a two-part assembly. I think the best way to tackle this build is to assemble the spoiler and paint it as a whole.

Do be careful with the metal transfers because in the fifth picture, the NISMO lettering looks crooked.

Good try though... :)

Yea..the Nismo emblem..I was so disappointed to my own skill that time when I ruined the emblem..Not in a mood to talk to anyone that day..
Haha..
I'm serious in this hobby, but not skilled yet. Wonder if someone here wants to open a tutorial class? Haha..

Well, you can always come to the workshops that is usually organized by the society. Not much on cars though but you can ask the guys there. All of them are more than happy to assist you.

Hi UnKnownUser..

This build of your's will be similar to the previous Fairlady where the panel line is not highlighted.... u may use black technical drawing pen (0.1 fine point) to do this but make sure is waterproof ink if u dun have any model kits (black) paints.

Notice the bumper and side skirts color is somehow different...what happen?

Most of us (modelers) will be at Cineleisure this coming Sunday; 22nd March for our society AGM. Do drop by and have some 'car modeling' chat if you have time as both druid_99 and me will be there too.... ;)

Need not worry on too many 350Z cos u r not alone ... wait till i post my TopSecret White Z33 later.. :P
