Hey guys, here comes my GT-R..
As usual, critics and comments are welcome..I'm now using photobucket, hopefully the pictures will be larger than the R32 that I've posted before.

By the way, I have an Evolution VI, I'm thinking of a rebuilding of the car, but I'm looking for the Tamiya Evo VI decals..Does anyone have Tamiya Lancer Evolution VI decals? Please PM me..Thank you..

Anyway, thanks for looking and leaving comments!
nice day everyone!

Looks good but you might need to tidy up during assembly on the front bumper. With a layer or two clear coats with some polishing will surely make the car more shiny...

Keep on building :)

Thanks for the comments druid_99.
I don't know the way to do polishing work, the scratch building and making own bodykits..
so mainly my works are all out of the box build and spray by spray can.
I've got shiny cars too, but not silver colour.
everytime I wanna spray silver on my car, it just turns out like that, not shiny at all..

Howdy UnknownUser..... looking at ur R34 color and 350Z, both are the same silver apply rite?

Silver color is very hard to acheive the shine you wanted unless u r using TMY Gloss Aluminium spray can where it can be polish till shine when it completely dry. As advise by druid_99, try to overcoat it will few layers of clear coat but care must be taken as you are using industrial spray cans (i presume) cos some industrial clear sprays will have chemical reaction with the plastic... so to be safe get the same brand and try it out 1st.... i'm using industrial can sprays also few years back but now model can spray....hope this help~! B)

What type of Evo 6 decal u seeking for?...standard or rally version?

Another nice build there. Try spray a few thin layers of clear on the finish paint job, let it set for a few days, then polish it with Tamiya (or any other brand) buffing and polishing compound.

PcEvo : Yeah, you're right. I was using gloss aluminium in both cars. I'm always using Tamiya spray cans. 'coz in my opinion, Tamiya's paint the best! Thanks for giving me those useful infos too! You're a master in car modelling right? I've been reading your posts..Haha..Thanks..

Uhh..I need the standard version..It's gonna be a road version..My Evo's paint ruined..So I'm thinking of the rebuild..

YGTan : Thanks dude for the comment! Well, I love this car so much..One of my most lovely build..Polishing compound? I don't even know the technique of polishing  ..by the way..I guess I can get the polishing compound from DaiSheng Petalling Street right?Since it is one of the most nearest model kits shops from my home..another one is the relocated HHQ.. :P

i notice some mold line u havent remove :P , i usually glue parts that are painted with superglue to avoid melting the paint ^_^

btw, where is the engine from? r32?

UnknownUser - March 13, 2009 08:58 AM (GMT)
Thanks Entau..
But what I've experienced is when the superglue dried out, some white substances will form..I don't know why..

Yep, the RB26DETT is from the R32. Remember my previous R32? The black R32..I've once thought of doing an engine transplant, but I'd like to see the engine display like that instead of molding it into the engine bay..That's why the engine is here..

if u put too much superglue, it will fogged. as for the mould line, just sand with 1000 grid sand paper and I think u need to spray more clear coat.

BV is rite, just use lil amount is enough, and with extra care

what i do is i hold 2 part together, if hand shaking can hold it temporary using masking tape, then drop some superglue using toothpick to the gap

if u drop the superglue on one piece and try to position both pieces is very risky, unless u got a very stable hand :P

Well UnKnownUser.... besides advise given by BomberVince and klay on using supaglue, if possible apply them internally (from inside) between the 'joint' rather then on the surface of the plastic. Supaglue can be sand down using proper grid of sandpaper... Don't apply supaglue on clear parts as it will make the clear part 'fogs'... ;)

Oh ya... i'm not master yet ... still learning day by day.. B)

it's different story if u coated the clear parts in Future, Future will some how prevent superglue fogging
