Got this kit in the afternoon, 3' long, it's time for me to build some ships.

From just looking on the plastic, I know this will not be an easy task. Target = 3 months.

what shall I call this? mould marks?

clean with TMY router

sanded smooth

user posted image
there's even more, or should I say...everywhere; anywhere. and this is just in one part.

user posted image
is the mould designer trying to make modelling a difficult task?

user posted image
sink holes!!! same part.

Bomber Vince - March 12, 2009 04:28 AM (GMT)
I think this is one might be the worst kit I've ever build, just look at the clean-up that I need to do...injection pin marks everywhere. the worst kit I build so far is the wsn German Type XXI U-Boat, but so far this kit can take the No. 1 place.

Keep it up BV!

Talking bout the black/gold thingy... I just attended their party at 1U, really a fun party. (Opps OT!)

Anyway, I just wondering how much time you taken to tackle all the sink holes and pin marks...
