Dear Sir,i hope this may help,there were some British forces tank(track vehicle) fighting Japanese during Malaya/Singapore campaign

100th Indian Independent. Light Tank Squadron, Malaya 1942

In April 1941 one Jat squadron was detached from 8th King George’s Own Light Cavalry and assigned to the newly raised 44th Cavalry then at Risalpur. Subsequently, this squadron was detached and redesignated as 100th Light Tank Squadron. It was composed of three troops and equipped with obsolete light tanks

Vickers Light Tank VI B (India Pattern)
Especially designed for India before the outbreak of WW2. This version did not have a commanders cupola. The commander's single periscope was located in the front half of the turret hatch.

two-man (commander/gunner, driver) light tank with cupola
armament: 1x Vickers .303in machine gun Or 1x Vickers .5in machine gun
armour: 12mm to 4mm
maximum speed: 36mph (28mph cross country)

The squadron had between 9 and 18 of these tanks.
The squadron was sent to Malaya early in 1942. On 29 January 1942, His Majesty’s Transport Empire Star arrived in Singapore with "16 tanks of obsolescent type." On 11 February 1942 a detachment of squadron was attached to Massy Force of 18th Infantry Division for counterattacks against the Japanese forces on Singapore Island. The entire squadron was lost when British forces surrrendered on 15 February 1942.

This Vickers light tank Mk II is of hollow construction, and cast in pale grey and white resin. 2 man light tank, used by the British Army between the wars This version comes with early single spring Horstman suspension, and can also be built as the vickers Mk II with Indian Pattern cupola.

JB model (out of production)also offer this kit in 1/76 scale but later was reissue by Airfix but the tank was only in british patern mk 1 to 4

8th australian Infantry Division during the Malayan Campaign 1941-1942 possessed the mark 3 Markmon Herrington

3rd indian cavalry regiment had small number of these vehicle (not sure mk 2 or 3 in Malaya

British Armored Carrier ACV-IP (India Pattern) Mk.1 - 4.
MK2 used by 9th and 11th Indian Infantry Division,some mk2 were obtained by 8th Australian Infantry Division and were used in Singapore by 18th British Infantry Division.

wargaming model kit, i only find one model kit for this vehicle
